you can get this model from sellers for $25. It’s very nice, heavy and it has an expensive feel to it. it gets very hot, 230 degrees and it goes up to this temp automatically when you power it on if that was the last temp you used the device on. this has to have a certain type of adapter (plug) (output 2000mA) or you will ruin the device you have to read the Manuel then order the right adaptor on eBay. It was easy to order it on eBay and the new plug in came right away. It comes with its own cord. make sure it uses ions you need the ions to help along with the heat to help smooth the hair. This worked very well. I have fine hair and a lot of it and I’m picky about styling devices. I do flat iron styling on cuts that are hard to style with lots of layers. It has 2 design flaws, while using it on myself my hand kept hitting the off button had to learn to hold it a certain way while in use. I carried it in my purse and it tuned on and I didn’t know it. It has to be kept in a box if you carry it in your purse or keep it in its sleeve. The battery lasts for about 2-4 uses on chin length hair if you are careful to start right away and turn it off immediately when done and you are fast at styling. I wish the battery lasted longer. I have short chin length hair it gets very hot and it styled my hair fast in five minutes. It normally takes me 30 minutes with a flat iron. I am experienced with flat irons which helps in using this device. you will want to watch flat iron tutorials and this products tutorials on you tube (tutorials that are not made by the seller)watch these first to be able to use this correctly to style. you have to put hair in pony and let out the bottom part of the hair one inch at a time working our way up the head. You have to hold the bottom strip of hair to create a tension while you move the brush down the strip of hair this takes a little practice, then you can make the hair flip out or curve slightly under or be straight. it helps if you know how to flat iron. I have a short cut with layers and side bangs. to make hair straight just run it straight down the hair. It gets extremely hot in about a minute or two. It powers off on its own when you leave it sitting.

I bought this heated comb to help add fullness to my hair, & thought it was going to be useful. It doesn't curl hair, but adds a bit of lift. Until it doesn't. It wouldn't heat up, so I figured it needed re-charging. I plugged it in, & left it over-night to charge. Only it didn't charge. It's dead as a hammer, & useless as .... uh, I'd better skip that metaphor, but let's just say, it does not appear to be able to turn on again. And as I wondered why my Amazon site was not giving me the information to return this malfunctioning almost new product, I realize that the option to return this piece of junk ended.... yesterday. The joke's on me. Most everything I buy from Amazon is terrific. This particular purchase is a dud, but I can't blame Amazon. The product came in a sturdy, well-designed box. It included a velvet-ish bag, & two hair clips, & charging cord. It has the appearance of a quality product. I just happened to receive one that only worked once, & apparently over-heated itself, & some element inside.... broke. And it's not that I wouldn't ever buy a product from this company again. It's made in China, & honestly, most Chinese produced products are well-made, & long-lasting. I think Porta-Pro likely makes great hair tools. Just not today.

I needed an easy-to-travel-with styling tool to keep my hair looking nice while out and about in this hot, humid southern summer. As someone with naturally coily hair, when my hair is straightened it is prone to frizzing/poofing up when I go outside even for a few minutes. So I needed a heated hair tool that I could keep in my purse and use to quickly fix my hair in the powder room while I am out of the house. This little brush did the job wonderfully! See the video attached to this review. The brush heated up quickly, and was able to smooth out my frizzy hair pretty fast. My hair may not be as sleek as it was when I first styled it and left the house, but the brush helped me make it neat again which is all I needed. It was very easy to use and I love that it came with a pouch to slip it into. And it fits into my little purse with no problem! Pros: - Heats up quickly. - Compact size for traveling. - Comes with a travel pouch/bag. - The bristles (mostly the base/bottom of them) get very hot, but the housing of the device does not get hot, so it is very comfortable to have in my hand and use. Cons - The battery life is acceptable, but not as long as I would have hoped. It takes about an hour for the brush to fully charge from being dead. I went out with it for 7 hours, and when I came back home it had one bar left. I had only used it once while out. - I have to be careful how I put it in my purse so that other items in my purse don't accidentally hit the power button and turn the device on. I can't give five stars because of the cons, but my true rating is 4.75. This brush did exactly what I needed it to do, and I would highly recommend it if you are looking for something to help you quickly touch up your hairstyle while you're on-the-go.

The product is heavy and a bit bulky for very short hair. It does work however for pixie or a bit longer hair it is too fat to really grasp the hair. My hair is short and worked good at the crown and longer top section. I think I will like it better when my hair gets past my ear and/or shoulder. It charges pretty quickly and will be very handy for travel due to the size and charging capabilities.

I shower before bed, so I wake up with messy hair. I tried this today after getting it and it made my hair look a lot nicer. Will definitely be using this everyday

Been charging for 4 hours and still on 1 bar. This is annoying!! I will be returning it

First thing I noticed is the on off button is in an area my fingertips hit while using it so, I kept unknowingly turning it off while using it. The ad says it’s good for travel but I just took it on a flight and twice I found it on full blast in my bag, Hot! Dangerous. It needs a hard case so it doesn’t accidentally turn on. And sad to report on my return flight it didn’t make it through security “because it didn’t have a removable battery” ??? I know, I don’t get it. So security too it away from me. I’m not sure the design is the best. Great idea but it didn’t work for me.
