What are the specs? SAE or other.

STARFIRE Full Synthetic 75W-90, 75W-140 and 80W-140 Gear Lubricants are suitable for use in the following applications: API GL-5; API MT-1; MIL-PRF-2105E; MIL-PRF-2105D; MACK GO-J, GO-H; PG-2 limited slip differentials;

is this good for limited slip rear differential in ford pick up

I'm not sure which Ford spec you require. Please check your manual for the proper fluid recommendations. STARFIRE Full Synthetic 75W-90, 75W-140 and 80W-140 Gear Lubricants are suitable for use in the following applications: • API MT-1 • API GL-5 • MIL-PRF-2105E and MIL PRF 2105D • Mack GO-J, GO-H • PG-2 limited slip differentials

Is this as good as 74W-90 which ised in semi trucks hubs and differentialls? Which one better for bearings?

I sell the full synthetic 75w90 to the hub/axle manufacturer. It is used in their heavy-duty axles and differentials. The 75w140 is the same product just a different viscosity grade.

Do you need to add friction modifiers to meet ford rear end specs m2c118-a ?

STARFIRE Full Synthetic 75W-90, 75W-140 and 80W-140 Gear Lubricants are suitable for use in the following applications: API GL-5 • API MT-1 • MIL-PRF-2105E and MIL PRF 2105D • Mack GO-J, GO-H • PG-2 limited slip differentials The 75W140, 80W140, 75W90, and 50W products all contain friction modifiers.However, I'm not sure what the requirements of the Ford M2C118-A spec are. It may require more or less friction modifiers. I would not recommend adding anything to an oil--it either meets the requirements of a certain spec or it doesn't. Adding the wrong additive that is not compatible with something else in the formula and it could cause major issues such as fallout, precipitate, or gelling.
