Provides immense relief from leaky gut syndrome
I started using this product upon recommendation from a new (integrative) doctor I started seeing. I've been working on healing from rather severe gut dysbiosis and leaky gut for several months. I was seeing and feeling improvement with only a change in diet (GAPS diet), but it is very slow progress. Upon taking this supplement I noticed a difference after just a few days. I thought there was no way it could work so quickly and that I must have been experiencing a placebo effect, so I stopped taking it. I repeated this "experiment" twice, and each time I felt a very noticable worsening of both physical and psychological symptoms. Each time, within a day or two of starting up again, my symptoms improved significantly. It's sort of expensive, especially because I take more than the recommended dose of 1-2 tsp a day. But I feel such improvement and relief that it's worth the investment. I should mention that I've tried taking some of these ingredients (NAG, l-glutamine, carnosine, etc) as individual supplements, because the GI Revive is so expensive. Unfortunately, I don't get the same results or anywhere close. This is truly the only leaky gut supplement I've found that has had any real results for me. A brief note on the taste, for anyone who is interested: It is peach flavored and sweetened with stevia. It's a bit too sweet for my liking, but it's not something that bothers me terribly. All in all, it's a terrific product. The list of ingredients is impressive, and I highly recommend this for anyone suffering from any type of GI distress.

Fast relief and quality ingredients
This product is a miracle for gut issues. I’ve used it separately and as part of a trio for gut repair and it’s the best thing I’ve used outside of peptides.

Cuts down on pain
I don’t have enough time to go into the huge depth of stomach issues that I’m dealing with, but I went from having a sensitive stomach (like have to avoid a few foods) to basically being able to only eat maybe 3 foods. After being pregnant and a bout in the hospital on every kind of antibiotic known to man, I’ve been having horrible right quadrant pain, stabbing and cramping. Cramping all over my stomach. Feeling of fullness, painful gas and being able to feel food painfully move through my intestines. Or just have it sit there painfully in my stomach not moving at all. I also have either constipation or it swings into diarrhea territory which burns and gives me hemorrhoids. Just writing this is giving me anxiety thinking about it. After a particularly horrible couple of days (I tried to eat something different- shame on me!) it was so painful and the loose stool gave me such horrible hemorrhoids, I was desperate. I had this sitting in my cabinet, but have been afraid to make the situation worse. First day I felt a little nauseous after drinking (I basically chug with a bottle of water), but it definitely firmed up my stool (thank goodness!) the next 2 days I was constipated (but I had also given up my coffee because of the pain). I hesitantly added my coffee back, and am now going mostly normally once a day. This has cut my pain down so much you can’t even believe. I was at probably a constant 6/7, while now I’m at a 1ish without some bouts of 6/7 that don’t last. I’m still getting some pains snd cramping intermittently, but it’s not the constant, horrible pain I was getting. I will say that I get some flushing when I first use this- I know some people were talking about thyroid issues. My hypo has actually been much better though, so who knows. Obviously, this is expensive. But anyone who is truly sick and in chronic pain knows they would sell all their belongings and live in a 3ft straw hut to be able to actually feel well again. So far it’s definitely been worth the price for me to not feel like I’m digesting hot knives every second of the day. Time will tell if it continues to work!

It worked for me.
Let me make something clear: for about 8 years, I've been on every stomach medication you can think of, all at their maximum dosages. It got so bad my doctors had to combine multiple medications just to reduce my symptoms. One day my insurance dropped support for my medications and they left me helpless; my stomach rebounded, and it became so bad I couldn't eat for months. Coupled with that, every time I ate I was having cardiac issues (Roemheld syndrome is what they call it) and extreme stomach pain, GERD, and acid reflux. I had endoscopies, colonoscopies, you name it, I'd done it. All the doctors said they couldn't help me more than what they were already doing. I did my own due diligence with ChatGPT and Reddit. That's when I came across this product. It worked for me so well that I was able to reduce my medications to one pill a day, I eat pretty much whatever I want, and I'm considering eventually coming off my medications overall. All these doctors were doing was treating my symptoms, not the root cause of the problem. This product treats the problem at the root! The only thing I don't like is the price; this is a product I'd stay on my entire life, but it's too dang expensive to do that. If they brought the price down to like 60 bucks Id take it forever🤷🏼♂️

Designs for Health GI-Revive Powder
This was recommended to me originally by a doctor for a variety of reasons including IBS, Leaky Gut, and Crohn's-like symptoms, which of course are all related conditions. At first the supplement took a couple days to fully take effect to where I could feel the benefits. Upon waking in the morning I took this supplement at the recommended dosage with a whey protein shake. Whey protein seems to not worsen my symptoms, in fact it seems to build immunity. I noticed by repeating this ritual daily I was eating food a lot better and was also mentally calmer as well. This product contains extremely high quality control, as with all Designs for Health's requirements. The blend of herbs and such are among the best in the market, if not the best. Although I suggest mixing with protein in the mornings before a meal I've tried the product with water and had great results and the taste is great. The smell of the product is like that slightly of Slippery Elm Bark which is of course a great herb for any digestive issues. GI-revive is a excellent product for anyone suffering with any digestive complications and its healing effects are highly sought after but rarely found. Adding Paleo-fiber, All-ONE multiple vitamins, and a high quality protein (Designs for Health whey) will provide for a great relief of symptoms. If you suffer from IBS-like symptoms be sure to eliminate Gluten from the diet as a lot of mental issues arise from gluten intake as well as food allergies. If you want real help and to see an improvement in your symptoms then please try GI-revive. The price seems steep for some but I can assure you its cheaper than going to a doctor who will proscribe dangerous prescription medications that don't solve or safely help the source of the problem.

It really works how I don't know
Not a supplement person, but after seeing a functional medicine doctor for a medical issue that I haven't been able to get to the root cause was recommended I get on a few supplements including this. I was very skeptical, but I am willing to try almost anything within reason at least once. It works! I've been on it a month now and have seen significant changes in bloating and just like a weird stomach feeling. I never had constipation issues or anything like that but always bloated issues. The taste is gross! If you notice your nauseous with it drink more water! I was told to drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and the first day was rough. I put it in a protein shaker bottle to make sure to dissolve it and interchange between drinking it and water and it helps like one sip for one sip. More water also helps with the taste because it's nasty but the more water the better the dilute. I put 4 stars because the taste and price. It is pricey sadly. I figure I would use this product for 3-6 months and then use a cheaper probably less ingredients or quality one as maintenance. The goal in my mind is not to be on these supplements forever but to get your body back to the right point where whole foods can supply what you need.
