同メーカーのNDフィルターを使用するに際し、一緒に揃えざるを得ない形でこのケースも購入した。 このケースは、落とすなどしなければ取り敢えずの保護材にはなる。しかし、これまで使っていたのがもう少し低価格のケースで保護性能がずっと優れた製品（耐衝撃性が強いかどうかを見極める際の指標となる「MIL規格」に準拠した製品）であったことを考えると、このケースはどう考えても満足できる品ではない。 このケースを使っている限り、スマホ＝ガラス製品というくらいの気持ちで、絶対に落とさない、という緊張感を強いられる。 NDフィルターを使わないときは、以前のケースを使った方が安全である。 【追記】 とうとう落としてしまった。 庭園内の石の上にNDフィルターが付いたまま、手持ちの高さから落下したら、フィルターが外れて分離した。これは割れたかと思ったが、意外にも、傷も割れも特にない状態であった。 思っていた以上に、耐衝撃性はあるように感じた。ただ、これがアスファルトやコンクリートだったらどうだったか。試してみるような勇気はない…
