We were looking for two area rugs, one for the living room and one for the dining room. We went to every store in our area and while we did see some that we liked, none of them were "mind blowing" for what they were charging. So...on to good ole' Amazon I went. Lo & behold...I came across these area rugs that looked beautiful in the pictures and when we saw the price we were a little skeptical. I said, "what the heck?" I ordered two, because returning things to Amazon has become so convenient, I will send them back if they're ugly or cheap looking. Well let me tell you, they are beautiful!! I will do a video at another time. I'm old & not tech savvy enough to get the photos from my phone to my laptop. (eyeroll) Anywho...we got two 8 x 10 area rugs. They are rubber backed, thin but not too thin, super soft, all finished edges and they look gorgeous in our rooms. The colors & designs in the rugs are muted & look so elegant. They really pulled each room together. Did I mention how soft they are?? Now...the "downside" is DO NOT use a regular powerful vacuum on these. A stick vacuum will do best on these rugs. We've been using a dust buster on them for now, but guess what? You can actually throw them in the wash! Read that again!! We don't have kids in the house & we take our shoes off in the house, so I can't imagine that ours will need washing that often, but just know if you have the kids, pets, traffic in your house, just pick them up & throw them in the wash. As soon as we laid them down, we walked over the folds and they flattened out perfectly. The grip has been great without putting any pads or anything on the back of these rugs. They haven't moved at all. They come folded & in plastic, not in a long carpet box, so one person can easily bring the box in and put them down alone. You will not be disappointed. Don't drive yourself nuts going to a million stores looking for the perfect rug.

Every year on Amazon Prime days I spend thousands of dollars restocking things like towels, throw rugs, shower mats and curtains, bathroom and kitchen stuff. This year I threw this rug into the mix -- with very low hopes. I have been buying (and returning) hallway runners for years -- and they've all been far more expensive than this one. They never seem to work. They're either too thick and the door won't open, or they slide around the floor causing a hazard, or the walking surface is slippery, or they look cheap, or they're just plain ugly. This one looked good on the picture, but I doubted it would be good in real life, so I didn't put much energy into it -- I even forgot I ordered it. Well -- when it showed up I was dumbfounded. It was folded and packaged beautifully. There was no smell. I put it out and it was thin (which is what I wanted so the door would open), had a built-in rubber grip on the bottom so it stays in place, the surface is soft but not slippery, and as far as appearance, it's actually neutral, soft and quite nice. It just fit my needs to a tee -- so much so that I'm going to order another for when this wears out. I have it in a high traffic area (from the garage into the house down a long hallway) and it's perfect. I can't think of anything that would improve this rug. Very, very pleased!

I was actually surprised at the quality and softness of this rug. I’ve only had it a few weeks, but so far so good. It is thin, but it’s so soft. It also cleans well. I have not washed it as I purchased a larger size. But it does well with my little portable shampooer. I have 3 pets and a dog who is used to going outside, but now we r stuck in a top floor apartment. So I figured I’d order a washable rug on the cheaper side. And I’m so glad I did. I read the reviews and was hesitant due to the creases in some of them. Mine didn’t have deep creases and laid flat immediately. But I was going to use my steamer if I had that issue. I was nervous about getting the beige color with pets, but it does vacuum and shampoo well. I’ve had a handful of pet accidents already, and you wouldn’t know. I don’t have young kids anymore tho, but I’d imagine their messes would clean up easily too.

Perfect rug. Soft but thin enough I can wash it. I have a teal leather couch and camel chairs (modern) -- the rug colors look great with that furniture

This is advertised as a washable rug so yes it’s going to be thin. I wanted an area rug as I’m putting together a guest bedroom. It is lightweight but very soft. I wanted it lightweight for functionality and cleaning and moving. The color is perfect. I got the soft beige and I loved it. You need to give it time for the folds to straighten out.

I bought this rug for my living area which also doubles as our play room. I have 2 young kids and they are hard on this rug. It has held up pretty well over the past 3 months but it is terrible to vacuum and always makes my vacuum error and stop rolling because it won’t move on the rug, even on the lowest suction setting. It’s impossible to keep clean on a day to day basis. It’s almost like this soft velvet texture and all food crumbs immediately stick to it. However, my son spilt his chocolate milk all over it and it was pretty easy to get the stain out. But the edges are slowly rolling up and my younger son keeps tripping over it. It’s also moving under my furniture and I have to constantly adjust it. I think it will do the job for not but I feel in the next few months or so I’ll have to look for a new rug that’s easier to vacuum and keep clean.

Okay I love this rug! It is very soft and the pattern is nice . It looks like a nice well made rug, I get lots of compliments on it! BUT spills / stains cannot be "spot treated" and you cannot run a regular vacuum over it. I have to use our robot vacuum or the handle brush attachment on my regular vacuum. I know it's washable but it's also not super convenient to always wash an 8x10 rug! lol now , I do have this matching runner and I say the same thing but it IS easy to throw in the wash and has done very well washed and dried !

Got the pink/grey one and the pattern is horrible. It’s so ugly. Unfortunately they have to approve your refund and you have to pay the shipping back which will be approx half of what I paid for this hideous rug. Do not buy from this company!!

What a beautiful rug! It arrived within 2 days, unwrapped easily and laid out evenly. No fuss at all. I would not hesitate to buy this rug again. Lovely quality and so very soft.
