These are brilliant for thinning/digging up rhizomes and bulbs. Also work for deep roots of weeds in a well-worked garden bed. Cautionary: keep hand not holding the tool away from where you are working. These are mighty sharp.

Just what I've been looking for. I have a small flower garden I'm building in my yard. I don't use pesticides or weed killers. I wanted a hand hoe to scrape the top layer of newly emerging weeds. This tool does it nicely. An added plus is it turns out to be a good digger too.

Very sharp edge. Undercuts weeds well. Useful for getting close in to vegetables and under drip lines. Can be resharpened.

I use this great tool every week. I adore weeding (no kidding) and this saves the fingertip of your gloves because you can use this to easily pry up the root instead of digging with a finger to try to get the root out. I go to town with this baby. I once lost mine and had to buy another one immediately because I can't live without it!

This is a great tool. Helps me get a variety of jobs done quickly. Nice and sharp. Feels sturdy. I'm thinking about buying some for gifts.
