Q: Any issues with plugging in a couple Apple USB adapters into the available 120 outlets to charge 2 iPads & use the built in USB for 2 6+ iPhones?

If all you are using this for is iPads or iPhones, you are wasting money. Those devices auto-detect the voltage coming in. They adapt to whatever power you are using (110v-220v, anyway). All you need is a plug converter.Laptop computers also should auto-detect. Look at your power block - it should say "Input 100-240v, 50-60Hz."

Q: Going to israel. need to use for hairblower, phone chargers, lap top, hair straightener. Can this work?

I can't speak for the power conversion in Israel, but my experience in Spain demonstrated the device could not handle my wife's flat-iron (hair straightener). It worked for phones, ipads, camera chargers, and all other electronics great. Her flat iron would power on (light would come on indicating it was operating) but it never got hot enough to use.

You need a heavy duty converter to deal with those items, as they use a lot of current (power = voltage x current). Or, as others have said elsewhere, buy devices that can use voltages from 110 - 240 and then buy the adapter for the plug. A heavy duty converter weighs a LOT, so it will cut into your allowed weight for your luggage.

Q: Can it handle a cpap machine for eight hours a night?

While many answers will tell you you do not need a converter DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. RESMED USA switches the DC polarity on it's devices. Plug one in on EU 240 and you fry the thing! You need to know the pin out power polarity of your device and insure that it matches before using. ALSO consider EU power fluctuations from 210 to 230 are all considered 220, and your CPAP may not do well under those conditions if it was built to deal with consistent USA 220V power sources. (remember your house line is 110, which is split off a 220V line voltage thru the entire USA.)
