I got the Royal Kludge R-75 about a month ago and honestly, I'm blown away by what you get for the price. I’m really into the look of this thing. The pink and white-ish colors are great, and it doesn't take up my whole desk because it's a compact size profile, but it still has the arrow keys and the function row, which I actually use. The first thing I noticed was the weight. It feels solid, not flimsy at all. And the metal volume knob is just a really nice touch. It feels solid when you turn it, not cheap. The Sound is the Reason I'm most glad I bought It. I’ve been on the hunt for a keyboard that gives you that deep, soft "thock" without any annoying echo, and this is it. It sounds so rich and creamy right out of the box. Whatever they put inside this thing totally kills any hollow sound. Every keypress sounds substantial and satisfying. I spend a lot of time typing, and the sound alone makes it worth it. I love the feeling of the keycaps. They have this nice, soft texture to them, and they feel thick and durable, like they’ll last forever. They're also shaped in a way that just feels comfortable and natural for my hands. The stock switches are super smooth. They glide really easily. I came from clicky switches and then tried membrane, but these linear cream switches are the happy medium. It's an effortless press that just feels super precise, when I'm gaming or just writing an email. If you're looking for a keyboard that feels and sounds custom-made, but you just want to buy it, plug it in, and go, the RK R-75 is probably it! The quality you get for the money is kind of unreal. I highly recommend it.

I thought all mechanicals were loud since I’ve always been a laptop user (membranes only) and this is my 1st desktop ever, but this one has a good sound profile. The keyboards also approx the same size as ones I’m used to. I’ve gotta say that this is nice and on the quieter side (in comparison to other mech keyboards) even as someone who can type up to 95-105wpm. Might even be a goated budget one that I scored for $47 with a good response feel as the keycaps have some ergonomic design to it I think. Can’t forget I love the color palette of the one I got because it has an earthly look compared to a minimal straight black. If you’re really worried about it, there’s various RGB styles that do compliment the keyboards base look and ones that I think don’t, just experiment and find what you like

The color matched and it was not disappointing at all🤍 I love the thocky-sound and feel of the keyboard! I played FFXIV, League of Legends, and Genshin with this keyboard and I had no issues at all.

But the lack of deep, customizable firmware is a wound that cannot be ignored. It is the one, single, glaring flaw in an otherwise masterpiece of affordable engineering. So here it sits. A four-star champion in a five-star body. It is a joy to type on, a solid, thonky, and beautiful piece of hardware. But the knowledge of what it could be, of the potential locked away behind an outdated bit of silicon, is a constant, nagging reminder of its tragic, near-perfect status. It is a keyboard that has perfected the body, but is still waiting for its soul.

Great keyboard and still going strong 3 years later! Feels phenomenal to use and the price was unbeatable for what you guy when I purchased it, the keyboard space became flooded in the budget space and they've gotten so good that you can kinda just pick one these days. It's plastic but it feels durable and the hot swappable keys mean if you need to adjust travel distance or feel of keys you can do so easily with no soldering. Wired only but for my needs that's perfect.

I purchased this keyboard for my wife and she loves it! The keys feel very responsive and make a very satisfying sound (not too loud but still a little clucky). The keyboard itself is a good size for what we were looking for. Everything worked very well and it is overall a good value.

I took a chance and I picked up this this Royal Kludge R75 keyboard (brown switches) during Cyber Monday at a steep discount, not expecting much. There were literally zero reviews/ratings on Amazon for this at the time, so I knew I was rolling the dice. However, I needed a small form factor keyboard that included a dedicated delete key, arrow keys, and a volume knob, and this seemed to fit the bill as there's not a lot of options that have all four of the features I wanted. I figured it would be a piece of junk, but I was quite mistaken. Despite the rather weird company name (I guess nobody in their PR/marketing department checked what "Kludge" means in English, LOL) this turned out to be a great purchase. The typing experience is smooth, and it is the quietest mechanical keyboard I've ever typed on, especially considering it doesn't have any of those rubber silencer rings around the keystems. The loud 'clack' noise when you bottom out a key, and the reverberating 'ping' sound so common to mechanical keyboards, is entirely absent. I imagine that the keyboard would be almost dead silent if you put on those silencer rings. I posted a video so you could hear the sound of the keypresses. It doesn't do the keyboard justice, it sounds louder in the video than it really is. Trust me, the thing is very quiet. One nice thing is that it comes with a removable dust cover made of clear plastic. Rather handy, it will most definitely reduce the need for me to clean the keyboard over time. To be clear I've only been using it for a few days so I can't speak as to its longevity at this point, but this thing feels solidly built and I'm very satisfied with the purchase. In fact, even if I paid full price rather than getting it at a discount, I'd still be very satisfied. If you're looking for a solidly built compact keyboard that still has dedicated delete and arrow keys, with a rather unique, quiet sound profile, this is what you're looking for.

I've bought a fair few keyboards over the years and they've all disappointed me. This one was the first one I can say I REALLY like. Mainly because of its compact size (allowing more room for my mouse) and fast responding keys. I was used to keys activating somewhere close to the bottom of the press but this one responds almost all the way at the top which feels so much better for gaming.
