Amazing! Alert -- review may contain TMI. Backstory -- I've suffered from constipation for years -- and over the last 4 years, hemorrhoids as a result. June 2025, I added psyllium husk (for this condition plus high LDL cholesterol) twice daily plus more fibrous foods and more water. Didn't help. January 1 2026, I started the product called EMMA twice a day - much lauded for gut issues. Well, EMMA worked right away. Too well--- I went in a normal amount in the morning, but also 3 or 4 more times a day in a small amount --- very, very irritating for my hemorrhoid condition! Even when I took only 1 a day -- still going way too much. So I started this product Physician's choice 10 days ago. And I read up on WHEN and HOW to take probiotics and psyllium husk to maximize the benefits. It works!!! I take one a day and I go once a day and it feels complete. Perfect! Here's how and when: 1. - Breakfast - Psyllium husk in a full glass of water -- within 15 minutes after (or during but NOT before) a breakfast containing at least 5 grams of fat for binding (1 egg is enough). Leave a gap of at least 2 hours between Psyllium husk and probiotic at lunch. 2. - Probiotic at lunch - with at least 5 grams of fat and at least 2 hours after Psyllium. Don't take these together. NO hot beverages/soup/liquid 15 minutes before or after Probiotics -- heat kills it. Probiotics do well when taken with food (warm food is fine) because it helps protect them from stomach acids. Better survival to get to the intestines where they do their job! 3. - Dinner - Psyllium husk within 15 minutes after (or during but NOT before) a meal with at least 5 grams of fat for binding. Full glass of water. At least 2 hours after Probiotic. This is a true testimony. My gut is working and I no longer feel like I'm sitting on a cactus. Try it -- it just may change your life!!!!

The formula includes 60 billion CFU and 10 different probiotic strains, along with organic prebiotics, which are designed to support digestion and help balance the gut microbiome. I have Bern taking this product for several years. It works well with keeping your stomach and digestive tract calm and regular. You must be consistent in your use. I used my first 30 day trial to figure put best time of day to take, did I need to take every day, etc. Once I found a routine that worked for me, I stayed with it and things have been great. Recommend this product but use it consistently.

I’ve been using this product consistently for more than 8 years. The way that I know it works for me is that I’ve gone periods without using it, anywhere from a few weeks to a couple months, for various reasons, even trying other-more affordable products, and while not using Physician’s CHOICE Probiotics I have noticed issues of gut irritability, poor digestion, poor gut motility and irregularity. Within a week or two of returning to using Physician’s CHOICE Probiotics those issues resolve and I feel better. If you’re new to using probiotics use a reputable product like Physician’s CHOICE. My primary care physician recommended this brand to me because it’s what she uses and trusts. It’s proven helpful to me because it’s given me meaningful results. Here are some helpful pointers that are critical for everyone: You must give any product like this plenty of time to work in your gut. A gut condition may seem to form quickly sometimes but has likely been developing for a long time. This means it won’t heal and correct quickly. A probiotic doesn’t work quickly in severe cases and takes time to correct some conditions. Be patient. Sometimes a recommended dosage on the bottle is insufficient but consult your physician to determine what dosage is correct for you. You cannot eat junk food, processed foods, or have a poor unhealthy diet that harms your gut and expect any probiotic/prebiotic product to help you in a meaningful way. If you’re going to try this out, or any probiotic, be serious about using it as part of a gut healthy diet first. Good nutrition is necessary to make this are any similar product work. If you follow my recommendations you will likely have good results from this product, as well as potential improvements of better nutritional absorption, better medication absorption, better hydration, better glucose control, better mental health, better energy. I hesitated to buy this product after reading about some of the negative side effects certain people experienced after taking this type of probiotic. I decided to do some research on my own (we should always do our own research on any topic), and it turns out it is normal to experience some temporary digestive issues, such as gas, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, etc. After all, we are introducing new bacteria into our system, so it makes sense to feel some discomfort for a few days. I was looking for a high-quality product, and I really value those that do not contain harmful additives, such as titanium dioxide, magnesium stearate, canola oil, etc. I decided to start with a low-potency probiotic (containing millions, rather than billions, of CFU) and take it every other day for about a week. After that time had passed, I started taking Physician's CHOICE Probiotics 60 Billion, and oh boy!, that first night wasn't easy at all; I won't lie (hehe). I felt some discomfort, but nothing unbearable. Having dealt with flare-ups of IBS, this was nothing in comparison. So, I decided to take just one capsule every other day, and so far, that is the method that works best for me. I haven't experienced any side effects taking one capsule every other day; I don't feel any discomfort whatsoever. Every body is different, so the best approach is to listen to your own body. I will undoubtedly repurchase this product from time to time, simply to maintain healthy gut flora. This product is excellent, as I learned that a high-quality probiotic should contain at least 10 billion units, given that a large portion of the initial billions may not reach their final destination due to the acidity of gastric juices.

I took this with the same brand’s digestive enzymes, and this improved my symptoms overnight. It was crazy. Gas and bloating significantly reduced and regularly restored—literally all overnight. I still can’t believe it. I’m in it for the long haul! It’s not expensive either so try it!!
