Bandai Harumika Designer Dress Form Set (Styles may vary)

I bought this for my 7 year old niece but loved playing with it myself (over 30). Perfect that there are 2 so she can share and it's more sociable and we have had competitions to see who can design the best party/halloween/wedding outfit etc... You have to get more material to go with it though or it is very limited as there are only 4 small pieces in the box. I bought a job lot of cut offs on ebay for a few pounds and now there are endless choices. Only one tool for pushing the fabric in the back but the end of a teaspoon works perfectly well for the other person designing or if that tool is lost. Lots of fun, promotes creativity and throughly enjoyed.

My little girl had this for her fifth birthday and has used it every day, creating a different style each time, it is surprisingly easy to create many different styles from just a few pieces of fabric. Not sure about it's durability, the stand keeps coming off the bottom when you pick it up but the slit in the back where the fabric is pushed in seems quite strong. Could do with a few more bits of fabric and accessories but I am sure we can come with those ourselves. All-in-all a good toy, even my 3year old has a try with it.

My daughter was so pleased with this birthday present. There are pieces of fabric and sparkly things in the pack to get started and then no limit to what you can do with your own fabric scraps and trimmings. Highly recommended by my 10 year old daughter. I think it would be suitable for a wide range of ages.

I purchased this item for my grandaughter who was eight, there are not a lot of toys for this age group, she liked it very much, seems quite expensive for what it is, but the idea is different, we also purchased an accesory kit which i think is essential, to enable you to get more from the toy. We have also collected scraps of material from craft fair to make extra outfits, she has since spent a lot of time playing with it.

My granddaughter, who is 9 really, enjoyed playing with this at Christmas. We had a game where she asked everyone to choose their favourite outfit, she had designed. Maybe could do with more fabric but I anticipated that and bought Harumika Fabric Refills so she was quite happy. A good product for the imagination.

Bandai Harumika Designer Dress Form Set got this for my 14 year old who is doing design at school and she loves it, you don't get much cloth with it but we just got shirts and clothes she grown out off and cut some out of that and charity shops are great she's come up with some amazing designs and is still is .... most used toy of xmas x

I bought this for my almost 12 year old granddaughter. I usually buy a set of things over the long school holiday to keep her amused. She wanted dolls and dolls clothes, but her mum thought her too old and they have fairly limited play opportunities for the older girl (not to mention how expensive branded ones are). Having bought software for her it was obvious that it was fashion/design/makeover that interested her. This toy was ideal, the design and fashion without the babyish doll or needing drawing skills. She and her friend thought it was wonderful and continue to use it long after. The kit comes with pretty megre cloth pieces, so I went on ebay for scraps of fabric and found a couple of cheap lots - they will be using this for a long time to come.

My daughter aged 11yrs kept asking for this to be a prez for her birthday, wasn't sure as hadn't seen it before, but that said,when it came,didn't think there was much too it. When she took it out of package I was surprised how little there was to it, appart from the actual manickons and stick,that makes it what it is, the material could be any bit of scrap materal, but she has played with it and realy enjoyed it, it is fun for any girl who wants to design cloths, is in to art&craft, other bits of materal,ribons& brade could be used to get more designs out of it, she loves it would say worth it for any girl into design, yes i would buy it again & she loves it.
