Main reason for getting this? I ordered this product because I made some 3D printed objects that needed gold metallic paint. When I tried to use acrylic paint with brushes, it went on unevenly and clumpy. These pins did the exact opposite. How does it work? It is easy you just shake the pens then on a piece of paper push down on the tip to release some paint. Once it starts flowing, you can paint whatever you want. How is the quality? This is really a great set of pins. It paints very evenly and with great quality. It looked like it was done with my 3D printer!! What were the results? I am so, so glad that I got these pens. I highly recommend this brand and plan to purchase more from them in the future if needed.

I recently painted my bathroom cabinets. Did a great job however, the top of the drawers and cabinet doors could have been better. Used these to do the little touch up and the worked great. Originally bought them for art projects.

Working well for my daughter, only complaint my daughter says is pen gets stained when blending with other paints.

I wish these had been what I was expecting based on reviews but unfortunately, everything important in terms of quality was missing. Maybe I got a lemon pack , but being there were several white markers I dont think that is why . A couple were opaque to begin with but even filled with ink kept diminishing in color until it was white smudge. Flow was inconsistent, and two of them never worked even with the ink being full and shaking and applying appropriate start pressure to marker. White is not easy to find in terms of what most professional artists are looking for . I keep thinking I found it , but its either short lived or inconsistent. Still on the search for one I can count on , but and I always wish it was it , this wasn’t .

I use these in a black paper notebook. The thick ones are the right size or headings and the thin ones work well for regular writing. If I run out of the small ones, I'll probably just use gelly roll white pens. The paint pens do have to be shaken tapped sometimes to restart the ink, and they may start with an initial blob. If the blob matters, keep a scratch sheet of paper handy for restarting the ink. It's not too bad for my purposes, and I usually just tolerate it.
