'IMPOSSIBLE TO PUT DOWN' Buzzfeed 'A MASTER OF PUZZLES AND PLOT TWISTS' E. Lockhart, author of We Were Liars Review: Interesting and adds more to the storyline - Excellent book from the brothers’ point of view. Adds more to the plot. Loved it!! Review: A must read for the inheritance games fans! - ✨ Book Review: The Brothers Hawthorne ✨ 🌟🌟🌟🌟✨ (4.5/5) Welcome back to the enthralling world of puzzles, riddles, and those Hawthorne brothers navigating their complex “who-am-I” journeys! Jennifer Lynn Barnes delivers the perfect spin-off to The Inheritance Games trilogy, keeping us hooked on the Hawthorne universe. Even if thrillers aren’t your thing, the intricate world-building and compelling characters will draw you in. With The Brothers Hawthorne, Barnes adds a new layer of depth and complexity to her characters, making this an unforgettable read! What I Loved: ✅ Fast-Paced Brilliance: One thing I always admire about Barnes is her ability to maintain a fast pace. Despite the longer chapters, this book never drags or feels dull. ✅ Grayson Hawthorne, Always!: While Jameson shines in this installment, my heart remains firmly with Grayson. He’s been my favorite since book one, and I still believe he should’ve been the endgame! ✅ Refreshing New POV: Seeing Avery as a third-person character instead of the narrator felt fresh and satisfying after experiencing the trilogy through her perspective. ✅ Nash and Xander Steal the Show: Despite limited page time, Nash and Xander leave an everlasting impression with their charm and wit. ✅ Setting the Stage for The Grandest Game: The groundwork laid for the next installment is perfection. With the new well-established characters, I can’t wait to dive in! What Could Be Better: ❌ As much as I adored this spin-off, it didn’t quite reach the heights of The Inheritance Games. That first one in the trilogy remains the ultimate standout in this universe, and for that, I deducted half a star. Tropes to Love: 🧩 Puzzles, Riddles, and Mind Games ♣️ Underground Gambling Club 🏘️ Family / Found Family 💖 YA with Romantic Undertones 💸 Billionaires and Secrets 🎭 Sibling Banter Final Thoughts: I loved The Brothers Hawthorne even more than The Final Gambit. It offers everything the last book in the trilogy lacked—depth, thoughtful pacing, and character-driven storytelling. Jennifer Lynn Barnes proves once again why the Hawthorne universe is so addictive. This spin-off is a must-read for fans of the trilogy and anyone who loves a mix of intrigue, drama, and family dynamics. Bring on The Grandest Game!

Change in povs was good
It was good to hear the story from the side of the two siblings in this one, as it showed who they really are and all of theor strengths and weaknesses made sense. A really good read in this series.

Not read the book yet....
The book, as is the usual case with all the paperbacks I order from Amazon (touch wood), was in pristine condition. No wear and tear, the book is the original copy and the size is the same as the rest of the Trilogy. PS- I'm lowkey exited to know what Jameson sees Avery like and indulge in the POVs of the Hawthornes

Print and quality great. Delivery AWFUL
The book is good. Printing and quality assures that it is a original copy. But most important thing DELIVERY is worst! Why would I have to accept crunched corner and damaged edges when I paying for this thing!!???? AMAZON SHOULD MORE CAREFUL ABOUT DELIVERING BOOKS! why they **don't provide BUBBLE WRAP/ a FRAGILE STICKER/ something like A STICKER WRITTEN 'CONTAINS BOOKS'... so that the delivery guy became more secure. This experience is awful.

Good to go..
The book is in good quality but more interest should be given in packaging. And the book came in a quite dusty form but luckily the pages were fine.

If you expect the main “ship” you’ll be disappointed
My niece liked it, so, so. It talked too much about her least fav ship and not enough about the main characters from the previous novels. I have gotten her the rest of the series which she loved… so far I’m missing Glorious Rivals and the one that will be released shortly.

ooh! Brilliant!
What a wonderful mess of twists, turns, vulnerabilities and more. This story is artfully woven into an addictive adventure as each of the key players discover something more about themselves. Another great story. I look forward to the next ones.
