That happens when the outer layer over the cups is too tight (like if it selectively shrinks in the wash), just stretch the outermost fabric layer a bit.

No it is not a minimizer, but fits very well, no spillage.

Does this bra provide side support?

Yes it does but the fit on this bra is horrible! Do not buy this bra.

Does the 42B have two hooks or three?

Probably depends on size. Mine has 2 (32D).
