Time will tell...
After a problem with getting the watch to connect to the app, we contacted support. They did respond within a day and said it'd be a couple of days for developers to fix the issue. Sure enough, the issue seems to be resolved. Now that it is connected, the watch is working and has features of much higher end watches, including a pretty vibrant face. I am still learning all it offers but it seems like it will do what I need. I really only got it to track steps and receive phone notifications. Time will tell.

The display of the watch is great.
QR code didn't work, after several tries found a different app to apply. Now seems to work getting most functions to operate.
