This is my 4th 4L ToAuto melter. This is the workhorse of my business. I use them for melting candle wax, wax melt wax, and for melting the oils for soap making. The wax melts quickly and evenly and the temperature holds at the set temperature. The temperature control also has a wide range of temps so I can melt my soap oils nice and slowly. This product has made my production much more efficient. I absolutely love that the inside is made of stainless steel, which makes it very easy to clean. There's also very little wasted material because the design has the drain hole right in the middle of the base of container, so every last bit of oil/wax can be used. The spout functions well and a I rarely experience splatter. I highly recommend this melter if you are a candle maker.

The TOAUTO 8Lbs Green Wax Melter has been a game changer for my candle-making setup! It heats up quickly and melts wax evenly, saving me so much time compared to using a double boiler. Bought this to help test different waxes mostly, I have 2 big ToAuto melters and I keep them full for production and emptying one to test another wax doesn’t work. This little thing ROCKS 👍🏻 received same day👍🏻packed well 👍🏻 comes with extra drain seal👍🏻 easy install of drain valve 👍🏻 filled with wax, at 11.5 minutes it looked pretty melted so I gave it a good stir and let it finish, fully melted in 19 minutes 👍🏻 temperature dial is pretty accurate 👍🏻I had it set around 175F, my digital read 172F👍🏻👍🏻 Empties out VERY good 👍🏻just a very small amount left to wipe out and cleaned up super easy with some alcohol 👍🏻👍🏻 all in all this one’s a winner👍🏻 great value 👍🏻and a great new addition to my ToAuto lineup👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The first time I used it, it didn't heat to the temperature I had it set to, it heated it WAY HOTTER than what I had it set to and burned ALL of my wax! It also burned the bottom of the melter discoloring the metal part. Also the wax drips out of the spout even though its closed and dripped all over my microwave causing melt spots! I heard good things about this melter- but they must send their rejects to Amazon customers!

It was almost too pretty to use, I love the mint green color. This wax melter is super easy to use, and because it's all enclosed if you run out of room in your candle molds you can just save the wax in the melter until you can pick back up the project. Additionally, because the sides are all straight lines, you can easily scrape down the side for less wax waste. While I was only using this at a very low tempature setting for my wax, it does appear like it could be used with higher temp waxes. My beeswax melted and was ready to use in around 10-15 minutes, and didn't burn it. I think there is a safety feature that prevents the bucket from heating if there is not enough weight from the wax. When I first turned it on there were no lights, but after putting some wax in, the red light turned on telling me that it was not up to temp yet. Overal, I really like this melter and I think it will be great for both soap making and candle making.

I purchased this from Amazon to make candles as a retirement hobby. It was easy to set and use. I leave it quite full so it takes a while to melt the wax however once liquid it retains heat well and quickly melts the wax I add to keep it full. The hole in the lid makes it easy to check the wax temperature and the pour spout gives me good control of the flow when I weigh out the liquid wax. There are a lot of larger, more expensive wax melters available however this one is just right for a hobbyist like me.

Works well, but the bottom has a tendency to scorch too easily. Size is great

I am so grateful for a company that stands behind its products and takes care of their customers. I'm looking forward to working with the 2 ToAuto melters I now have. One for candles, and now the new one for melts. Thank you Max and Melina for reaching out and helping, I appreciate you both! I don't care for this Melter. It's more trouble than it's worth. The spout splatters wax everywhere, not a good flow like some others I've used. The bottom scorced on medium heat with over half full of wax, I had to clean it with SOS pads to remove the dark gross film it left behind so it didn't contaminate future wax batches. I have the ToAuto 30 LB large one and it's so much better than this. Hard to clean, Poor Quality, Durability Poor and there are better choices for Functionality! I bought it because of the good reviews, but I have to disagree with all of them! Wish I had passed on this!

After using it only once the tap stopped working. I have tried to clean the spout from all the dry wax but it doesn’t seem to be working at all. Again so much money gone waste.
