After dealing with a standard brace that allowed too much micro-movement, I switched to this one, and it completely locks down my thumb to provide the rigid support I actually needed. The build quality is incredibly impressive for the value. It features thick, heavy padding that offers excellent softness and comfort, making it ideal for extended wear. A standout feature for me is the seamless design; my old brace had a rough seam in the webbing between my thumb and pointer finger that constantly rubbed and irritated my skin, but this continuous material causes zero skin irritation. It also had absolutely no noticeable synthetic odor right out of the box. I primarily used this brace at night to provide rest, alongside a few hours of daytime wear. The impact on my sleep quality was fantastic because it kept my arm completely secure, and after just a few days of this routine, my wrist felt 100% better. For a custom fit, the internal metal supports are entirely removable, allowing you to manually bend them to achieve more or less support depending on your injury. As a minor nuance regarding fit, the brace runs a little long on the arm. To get the maximum stability required, you do have to pull the straps quite tight, which makes it feel a bit constrictive. However, it is padded well enough that it never cut off my circulation or caused my hand to go numb. Overall, this is a premium, high-quality brace that offers maximum relief and heavy-duty support. I was diagnosed with dequerveins in my left thumb. I didn't want the brace the specialist offered me because I hadn't met my deductible and theirs are extremely expensive. So, I came here to Amazon. I put this one in my cart, but since I wasn't hurting that bad I decided to cheap out and get the Mueller one for 14 bucks. But he moment I saw it and tried it on I knew I had made a mistake trying to cheap out. So then I ordered this one the same day. Huge difference! Huge difference in every possible way. For only a few more bucks this is a significant upgrade in every aspect of the experience. The packaging is better. The brace itself is of overall much higher quality with a much more premium look and feel. Yes, this is a larger brace than the minimalistic Mueller. But if you are looking for any kind of actual support for your wrist and isolation for your thumb, trust me this is the one. My wrist measured just under 8eight in so I went with the large / extra large and it's a perfect fit. There is a soft inner sleeve that sits against your skin which makes it easy to put on and take off and feels comfortable on your arm. The straps are simple to access and use and the distribution of the pressure feels better and more supportive as opposed to the cheaper one I tried. But most importantly for me is the thumb support and isolation. I couldn't tell from the original pictures, but once I put it on I was impressed with how it worked. Much more comfortable around my thumb than the other one and this one actually keeps my thumb immobile. So, ultimately it's up to you. You can cheap out and try and save a few bucks. Or, you can spend a little bit more and get a genuinely quality product here. So if you have an actual injury or need actual thumb support, please take my advice having compared them and go with this one! Hope that helps.

Got tendinitis from hobbies. Hand and wrist ached at night. Changed my tools and methods and started wearing this at night. It relieved most of the pain as soon as I put it on at bedtime and was very comfortable to sleep in. Once I got the straps adjusted for the most comfortable spot it stayed that way all I had to do was slip it on. Has become part of my bedtime routine and the minute I put it on I relax. Pain is decreased during the day although only use this at night. Definitely one of my better purchases.

I sprained my wrist. I have been in a lot of pain. I bought a flimsy brace(at first). That did nothing! I got this brace,and it’s much better. I wake up to put this thing on,in the middle of the night. It really helps me(for pain). It’s very adjustable. The Velcro is very strong. I just wish, I had gotten this one,sooner. It has two metal bars in it, that keep my wrist stable.

I broke my hand/thumb and couldn’t afford a trip to the doctor. No car, no money. But I was desperate. I knew I needed something to stabilize the bones. I bought a few hand/wrist, braces, and this was one. By far the best purchase ever! Top notch, quality. Durable, stable. Helped reduce the pain, is not cheaply made, and therefore has great wearability. It greatly reduced swelling, kept me as comfortable as possible, kept the bones from shifting. I wore it for about two months straight. My only regret is not purchasing multiple because I sweat a lot! And it would’ve been great to have an alternate while I washed/dried this one. Quality product. The other 5 items I purchased were so flimsy or cheaply made that they fell apart so easily after a couple of wears or wouldn’t stabilize the bones as needed. I highly recommend! I could not be happier with this product. The bones have healed, but it’s a keeper! Good cushion, support, breathable material, metal along multiple sides to keep it immobile. I very highly recommend. I also have multiple desk jobs where I’m on the computer 12 to 16 hours a day, nearly 7 days a week. I’ve been doing computer work for over 20 years and my wrists are beginning to feel it. So I have even used this to help from developing carpal tunnel. To give my wrists relief after work, or to reduce pain during work when I have it. I just need to get one for my right hand now. Lol Not that I have any broken bones in that hand, but would come in handy for the carpal tunnel stuff.

This brace adjusts to fit for excellent support. When my hand and arm are sore, this is a great splint. I usually sleep with it and the next day it’s feeling much better, but it’s comfortable to wear all day long if needed. Highly recommend!

This brace helps me a lot. The metal bars that hold the brace in place are firm and non flexible. They have 3 arm straps that are adjustable to make sure the fit is right for you. The thumb strap seems a bit loose on my thumb but I have a very small thumb. Helps a lot with my carpal tunnel. Fits both hands. Easy to put on and take off on your own. Definitely worth it.

Omg this brace has saved my actual life. I am a professional cleaner and my hands were going numb and the pain was unbearable. I could barely hold my tools.
