Great coverage and texture
I used the Rust-Oleum Chalked Spray Paint in Charcoal to refinish an antique mirror for my vanity. The coverage was perfect! Love the color, and it only took one coat of paint. This spray paint covered the previous finish without needing to remove it. I added bronze details to this project for a lovely "dark academia" look. Turned out great!

A Nice Subtle Shade Of PINK Chalked Spray Paint!
Firstly, Iโve been experimenting quite a bit with chalk finish paint to refresh some outdoor furniture before hosting a baby shower. I have found Rustoleumโs Chalked line of spray paint to have the best quality, appearance, and overall texture compared to most other paints. The fact that itโs offered in a spray paint form also makes it less messy and fairly more hassle-free than most all of the other options available also. I used the Blush Pink shade to refinish this old little side table I use for plants. The table was originally finished in a dark red cherry wood tone but appears to be made from composite materials as itโs very lightweight and the wood finish could be sanded off easily. I cleaned the table off and then very lightly sanded the shiny sheen off of it where I could, without being too worried about getting it all off and without removing the cherry wood tones. I then sprayed it with three light coats of the paint. If there where any drips or accidentally thick spots of the paint, I hit them with a foam mini paint roller immediately after spraying to incorporate them better. Drying time was very quick- it only took 10-15 mins for each light coat to be dry to the touch, but I still gave each coat about an hour total outside in 77 degree sunshine to dry (probably unnecessary though). Iโm ordering the chalked top matte coat to finish off the piece and will probably hit it it with a sealer too before putting it back outside. However, at this point, Iโm very happy with the results! I wanted a subtle shade of pink but was mostly shooting for any kind of boho-looking light-colored chalk finish so I was flexible. This paint goes on very stark white-looking, but then seems to settle into a light pink shade after drying out fully. It has great coverage, though I did use one whole can on this one table. Still worth the $10 for the end result. Overall, Iโd definitely recommend this product!

Easy to go on, renders in one coat, nice look
Nice easy cheap chalk paint. Pic shows a beat up old worthless 100 year old Henry II Renaissance Revival chair. One coat.

Great value
I almost went with the cheaper Re-tique brand, especially bc I was buying two cans. I had initially wanted to fully paint some light wood furniture we were given for a recent move, white. Bc I didn't want to fully cheap out and end up with nasty paint that wore down quickly, I went w this Rust-o-leum brand. Upon getting the furniture, It looks so good the color is is, that I may not paint it anymore. I still WANT to, but it looks so decent that I know it won't be worth the effort involved just to make it white, even if I still want to. So what to do now with two cans of chalk paint. I opened one can and went around the new place and touched up trim and molding and window ledges. It was perfect. So easy to use and dries so fast. I also ended purchasing two kitchen stool chairs from LetGo and they were a really bold cherry wood. The color did not go with anything in the apartment at all. Cue chalk paint. They were such a deep serious color that I needed to do two coats. One coat was "ok" but it was very obvious they were painted and strike marks were everywhere. I could have left them if that was the look was going for, but it really wasn't. So I had to bite the bullet and do another coat on both. They came out great. But I still have only used half of one can. I don't know what the hell I will use another can for. I may return it. Overall, this was a great chalk paint option and while I didn't use it for my initial intention, it still functioned perfectly for spur of the moment stuff in its place. I can't speak to its durability how long it lasts just yet, but I did put a layer of wood sealer on the chairs. I was going to do wax, but figured no one would want to be sitting on sticky wax. This was a great product!

Chalk paint is super easy to work with
I refinished an old 90's oak side table in my living room to give it a new look with this chalk paint. I chose chalk paint because it is notoriously easy to work with, covers well, and is durable. The serene blue color was just beautiful, and a slightly unusual color for a wood piece. Yet it matched my living room decor perfectly. The paint is thick, thicker than latex or other paints you might be more familiar with. However, it goes on well and covers completely in just a coat or two. Best of all, there's no need for sanding first! I admit, it did scuff sand a little bit first, just to assure good adhesion, but this wasn't necessary according to the package directions. Once cured, the paint is very durable with a completely matte finish that easy to sand off if you want a more distressed look to your piece. For extra durability, you might consider covering with a polycrylic or wax. I used less than half of my quart-sized can for this table. Since chalk paint is so easy to work with, I am thinking about what else I can cover with my leftover paint!

So easy! Dries fast!
I love this paint! The regular liquid paint is great but this is bees knees! No, for real! Ok so I painted my end tables with the liquid version of the rustoleum chalked pain and the spray paint in โwhiteโ. Too white. Waaaaayyy too white. So I ordered the โChiffon creamโ and itโs perfect! Itโs the perfect farmhouse white. Oh also, I did not sand or prep the tables at all other than using an all purpose cleaner and a rag to wipe them down before initially painting them. They were a medium tone wood with some sort of shiny sealer (I believe they were from the 1960โs, they were my grandmas). Itโs a matte finish so keep in mind youโll see wherever you spray too close bc those spots will be shinier. Also drip marks are a given. But thatโs why this is so awesome, you just take your sanding block and rub it off when itโs dry. It took about a can per table (shown in pic). I recommend buying an extra can in case you need it. Our local hardware store (Hโ- Dโโ) doesnโt carry this color so be prepared! 2 coats might be enough but I did 3 to be sure I got the coverage I wanted. Chiffon cream on left and the white on the right in the picture. Every time I purchase something online, I always check the reviews. I count on others to help me choose the best option. Good paint
Very good paint. Smooth finish and durable. The charcoal color is very dark, might as well be black. If you want gray go lighter.

NOT Waterproof!!
This is ok but after applying and drying, it wiped off. It is important to know it is not waterproof and needs sealed after application.
