Lovely trees

Brilliant value and product
Not sure if you can edit reviews but if you can I will keep a diary until I make some apple sauce out of this! Day 1: received tree day early, looked amazing. I was expecting a bare roots tree with no leaves that sort of came back to life, turned out to be a live tree with green leaves and in a little plastic pot. Day 2: Planted as per simple but effective instructions. (see picture) 2 weeks: still going strong, had a bit of marks on leaves which I think is transplant shock but these are few and far between so hopefully all good.

Well packed but dry and crumpled on arrival with a cracked plastic pot.
Arrived surprisingly quickly in a large box. Unfortunately the large square pot it was in was cracked and compost and some roots were hanging out. Re-potted it in a much larger pot. Good strong growth on an excellent graft. The leaves seemed crumpled and dry on arrival but hope to get some results this season when I have sorted out an appropriate pollinator.

Diseased and Infested Apple Tree
Everything you could ask for in an Apple Tree...and More! More time to dig the hole for it, as the delivery was More than a day late.(Amazon delivery date 7th June...Yodel actual delivery 18:00 8th June More than just an apple tree..this one came ready for Christmas, complete with fake snow all down the main trunk.After a quick Google, it now seems that it isn't snow after all, but Woolly Aphid fungal damage, a known pest in apple trees which although treatable, is quite damaging to the tree.The tree bark is badly split and distorted and looks be ripe for further pathogen infection/infestation. More wildlife for my garden!!.in this case the apple tree came with about half a dozen clumps of caterpillers munching away at the leaves. I have planted the tree,sprayed it to control the aphids and caterpillers and now wait to see if it will survive. I should have returned this tree but I can't wait around the house any more waiting for Yodel to turn up!
