This thing is just humming away in my back yard, providing more than enough power to my shed to power the bank of 12v batteries I have in there. Love it. Installation went well enough -- I did make my own (3d printed) mount. I put it up in the fall just as the snow flew (in WI) and it soldiered on all winter. It survived brutal winds that almost blew my tent garage away. Very happy with the product.

I have been pleasantly surprised by how well this turbine is working in addition to our solar array. In fact I just bought another to add to our hybrid system. It is made of heavy metal construction on the body with the blades a hard resin composite. Easy to install with basic 12v knowledge, not so easy getting 30'in the air to mount. We live in NE Oklahoma and there hasn't been a day since installation that this turbine isn't doing its thing. It does need a HEAVY DUTY pole to be mounted on, sadly the cheap 30' flagpole I originally mounted mine on isn't up to the task.

The only good thing is is arrived early, when I bought it it said 500 watt,but when I opened it the booklet said 200 watt,it came damaged ,the tail is bent on it and there is paint chips all over it ,thinking about returning it bc I wanted a 500 watt not a 200 watt,and then the nut was so tight I could barley get it off

I set this up to charge a pair of lithium batteries powering lights on a sensor. Unfortunately, it requires substantial wind to get it spinning because the blade design isn't ideal. It may function better in the winter months when we get more wind. I increased battery capacity and added a solar panel for nominal system operation. It is very quiet when operating. Now spinning with 6mph wind!

We live in Iowa where there is a lot of wind. Added this to our garden solar array to run some lights and irrigation controller. Works well and does what it claims. I have 2 complaints. First complaint is mounting. They provide a collar that goes on the top of "a pipe." Unfortunately, that pipe isn't something you can just order. Nobody provides it and the dimensions are not clear. Finally found the right diameter at Lowe's in the electrical section after browsing several with collar in hand. I believe it was a 1.25" threaded steel pipe. $70 for 10 feet. They put 2 screw holes in the upper part of the collar to attach the turbine, but didn't put any in the bottom half to secure it to the pipe. They expect you to weld it on. Two threaded holes on the bottom would have been very handy and wouldn't require a weld joint. So far, we're getting lucky with it just sitting on the pipe - hasn't blown off yet in 30 mph gusts. My second complaint is the lack of information about the 3 wires that come out of it. Turbines are AC power, so they have 3 wires. You'd think there would be a Load, Neutral and Ground, but it doesn't seem to matter - it works no matter how they are connected.

It looks good, easy to install. The problem is I can’t get the blades turning in a 15 mph wind, strong enough to shake the pole. It would spin in a gust of stronger wind but stop when it died down. Larger longer blades needed.

Purchased this weeks ago and still haven’t been able to even get it up due to the pipe size. I can’t even say if it works well or not as I can’t find the pipe to get it up. Instructions are not clear, and vague. Purchased one that has better attachments, I was excited to start this but now I am very disappointed and I haven’t even got it in the air….

Didn't try it yet, been so busy, but looking forward to it.

Larger then I thought, not user friendly will need to buy wire and pole to use it havent actually tried it yet
