The straps and Velcro are made of nice plush. The seams are giving out as o have children who also like to “wear” the mask. The nose does not cup every face the same as everyone’s face is not the same. The eye holes are deep and you can open your eyes freely with the mask on. The mask is soft to touch and slightly pillow like.

This item arrived neatly enclosed in a product box, inside of which is an extremely nice, very giftable, Ultrahuman box that contains the sleeping mask, carefully rolled inside a luxurious velvety drawstring bag. I feel like half the cost of this product is allocated to the fancy packaging, so if you choose to gift this item to a loved one or yourself, they (or you) will feel pampered before you’ve even had the chance to try on the mask. All of that being said, I’m not all that crazy about the mask itself. In terms of positives, of which there are plenty, the mask is clearly made of quality materials that feel well constructed, durable, and soft enough to be placed against your face for hours at a time. I like that this mask is of the design where there is space for you to open and close your eyes while wearing the mask without your eyelashes or lids brushing against the fabric. Also, this mask is absolutely a full blackout design. Once it’s on and tightly secured, no light can be seen in the mask at all, even in a very bright room. Most of the drawbacks I observed while using this mask are at least partially a matter of user preference. For example, I feel like the reason those cheaper masks with the elastic straps on the side that are wide but flat are so successful is because you can’t feel them when they’re on, especially if your head is on a pillow. This Ultrahuman mask, while very pretty to look at, is beefy. Perhaps this is because there was a lot of material required to make the mask fully blackout, but this thing is so thick it stands upright, like an open pair of sunglasses, when placed on a table. I knew the first night I wore this that I was going to have to take it off and put my usual one on instead because I could feel the big bands on the sides and back pushed into my scalp by my pillow. Not at all painful, but insanely annoying. Also, it’s kind of hard to tighten this securely enough using the elastic on the side to ensure that it doesn’t slide its way off your face if you roll around at all in your sleep. Overall, I really like Ultrahuman as a brand, but this mask is just not my favorite of their products. I do think, though, that all of the drawbacks (only stays on your face if you don’t move around, bothers your head when lying on a pillow, etc.) are irrelevant when using this during a flight or some variety of travel where you can be seated upright with your eyes closed in pitch-black darkness. This mask would be perfect as an airplane sleep mask, and I might be motivated to go on a far away vacation just to find a reason to use this mask again in the future.

I did not actually believe this would work as advertised. I thought it would be great, but not really 100% light blocking and not nearly as comfortable as advertised. I tried them on just now, in a room with a wall that is almost entirely a large window, at 5pm on a sunny day. The light was 100%, entirely blocked out. And they felt comfortable! But for how long would they feel comfortable? Well, it's 7:20pm now. I just woke up. I actually fell asleep in them during my test run. These are EXACTLY as advertised.

In order to block light well, I have to tighten it too much for my ears to be comfortable. And If you are a right side-lier the velcro and extra band may be uncomfortable, as it is for me. I think in general it was made for a much bigger head than mine--I am a petite woman. I wish I had returned this right away.

I'm a little bit torn reviewing this mask. First of all, it's much more expensive than even the finest mulberry silk sleep masks. My wife tried it and didn't like the fact the side straps touched her ears since most sleep masks we have thinner straps on the side. For me, the main issue is the Velcro design. To make it stay on your head, you need to make it a little tighter than I would prefer. If I make it a little bit loose, the sleep mask is more comfortable. I am a back sleeper who doesn't move much (in an airplane or at home) so loose is okay for me. For my wife, she is a side sleeper who moves a lot in her sleep so even if it didn't bother her ears it would come off while she's sleeping if she didn't make it tight enough. For durability long term, the Velcro design wins over stretchy straps which will stretch out over time. But I wonder if the end game is a Velcro design stretchy strap that is replaceable. When the mask is on, I can see no light with my eyes closed or eyes open. One thing that makes this mask stand out is the ability to open your eyes with the mask on without your eyelashes touching the mask. This is a big plus for some people. The mask itself and carrying case are made if very high quality materials. At a price of $49.00 for a sleep mask with carrying case, I would say it's definitely a luxury splurge and an okay value for the money. If you're a sleeper who doesn't move much, can leave the mask Velcro straps a little loose, doesn't mind the straps touching your ears, and wants a mask where you can open your eyes without your eyelashes touching your sleep mask, this should definitely be something to consider.

Ultrahuman Sleep Mask is a high quality comfortable sleep mask for $49.00. At first I was skeptical about the pricepoint, but after receiving and using this mask, I can understand it. It truly is a premium product and a luxury item. If you struggle to fall asleep or stay asleep with light, this is the mask for you. Pros: It comes packaged really well, almost like how you'd expect a fine bottle of alcohol. This kickstarts the luxe experience. It also comes with a storage dust bag. It has a gentle velcro closure, which does not stick to your hair or hurt which is a huge benefit. Most importantly, IT BLOCKS ALL LIGHT! There's a raised portion so you can open your eyes and move them around but not feel the mask on your eyelids. This is also a huge benefit if you wear lash extensions because this mask will not crush your lashes. It fits comfortably, the material is soft, it goes over your ears without pressure if you're a side sleeper and it stays on through the course of the night. The only con is just that it's a high price point so it may not be accessible to everyone. I'm also not entirely sure what the wash and care instructions are but thats on me to review the packaging. I recommend!

La propia caja cilíndrica de cartón rígido (voluminosa e innecesaria) ya da una idea de la calidad y sobredimensionamiento del producto El antifaz tiene un acolchado muy grueso, que puede resultar cómodo para muchas personas, y para otras no tanto. En verano es demasiado caluroso. El sistema de fijación con velcro es más seguro y se ajusta mejor que el de los antifaces con tira de goma; yo diría que es la gran ventaja con respecto a ellos: apenas se mueve de su sitio. Pero lo más importante: ¿deja pasar la luz? Aunque en algunos comentarios han dicho lo contrario, mi experiencia es que por debajo de la nariz deja pasar algo de luz, exactamente la misma que el antifaz con tira de goma que tengo. No es mucha, si no sois muy tiquismiquis os valdrá perfectamente

A la livraison, vous recevrez : - un masque de sommeil - une pochette de rangement Je trouve que ce masque de sommeil est plutot haut de gamme. En effet, il est vraiment bien conçu avec sa bonne ergonomie, sa large couverture au niveau des yeux ainsi que l'utilisation d'un tissu très agréable. Du coup, il s'ajuste bien au visage et est vraiment confortable à porter. Il reste bien maintenu pas pendant le sommeil graçe à son scratch d'excellente qualité. A noter qu'au niveau des yeux, il y a une "profondeur" qui apporte un confort supplémentaire (voir photo). Je trouve également, que la pochette de rangement est bien pratique pour le proteger de la poussière lorsque l'on ne l'utilise pas. Enfin, c'est secondaire mais je trouve le packaging vraiment classe. En somme, un masque de sommeil plutot haut de gamme comparé à la concurrence. Du coup, je valide ... Feu vert !

Als Vine Produkt kam mir die Schlafmaske gerade recht für die letzten Dienstreisen, für ~45EUR hätte ich das Produkt sonst ehrlich gesagt nicht in Erwägung gezogen. Die Maske macht genau was sie soll: sie dunkelt hervorragend ab. Im Gegensatz zu vielen Produkten, die man locker für 1/3 des Preises bekommt, wird sie nicht an den Ohren befestigt sondern um den Kopf gelegt und mit Klettverschluss fest gezogen. Das ist ungewohnt und sorgt einerseits für einen festen Sitz, andererseits für etwa Druck und Auflagefläche am Hinterkopf. Beim Schlafen hat mich das meistens nicht gestört, das tun die Ohr-Befestigungen "normaler" Schlafmasken jedoch auch nicht. Insofern: Funktion erfüllt, Befestigung anders gelöst als üblich - kann stören, muss es jedoch nicht. Preis sehr hoch dafür. Wem eine hochwertige Verarbeitung wichtig ist und ein fester Sitz rund um den Kopf, der kann hier bedenkenlos zuschlagen.

Un colis énorme, une boîte stylée, tout ça pour un simple masque ! Alors oui il est en effet plus épais, plus large que les masques 3D habituels mais je ne vois vraiment pas la plus -value en termes d'efficacité ! Par contre niveau prix je vois très bien et un conseil, prenez un masque 3D d'entrée de gamme qui vous coûtera bien moins cher pour les mêmes services rendus ! Les 2 étoiles perdues sont bien évidemment liées au prix du masque !
