They’re hard plastic so the scratch scalp if you’re not careful.

Sturdy and easy to use

I purchased something like this while in the military and could find anything like it since. When I saw these, I had to have them. They are good quality and will last if taken care of. Great for kids and adults.

The product was as advertised and works well. The bristles are soft and smooth so they feel good against my scalp. A slight niggle, though, is I purchased these to replace a similar product by Goody that I purchased many years ago. The new ones were about ½ to ¾ of an inch smaller in radius and about ⅓ smaller in overall size. The dimensions that were disclosed were accurate and proper, its just that they are very similar to my old Goody ones and on paper they seem the same, so the smaller actual size was a surprise. I deducted no stars from the product because of this, I just point it out for future shoppers.

I use these to shampoo my dog and they work amazing! They get his undercoat fur out. Our tub is FULL of hair after! But they kill your fingers holding them. I tried multiple ways of holding them, every way hurt. They need a better design for holding them.
