UltraSharp U2724DE 27" Class WQHD LED Monitor - 16:9

Best monitor i have ever owned, hands down. Just over 14 months in, and I have zero issues. U2724DE Hits all the magic checkboxes: - Perfect size screen for desktop 27" - QHD is a great compromise for software developer activities and good screen display ( short of a 27" Apple studio display $$) - Well thought out set of many ports, that you may need. - Comes with a good cable selection to get up and running quickly Just buy this monitor !

This is a great monitor for my MacBook Pro M4. The native resolution provides amazingly crisp images. Editing photos is a delight, and best of all, it has a fully functional docking station and, just thrown in like a bonus perk, a KVM switch. So I can connect both my Windows and Mac and use the same mouse/kb.

Really great monitor and also a KVM/thunderbolt dock. Few things I have to say about this is that I wish the thunderbolt also carried an additional display so that HDMI out could be used. Second, I think it should be brighter for the price of this monitor. In a bright environment inside, it has hard time with the glares.

The built-in KVM sounded like a great bonus feature on this monitor. The downside? When you boot your computer, the monitor and keyboard will not connect until AFTER the operating system has started loading. This means you have no way to get to your machine's bios settings unless you bypass this monitor and it's kvm switch and connect the keyboard and a DIFFERENT monitor directly to the computer. What is the point of paying $500 for this if I need to keep a second monitor on hand just to get to my bios? Really stupid design flaw that overrides anything positive I could say about this thing. Just buy a quality monitor and separate kvm switch and forget about this piece of garbage.

Looks good, KVM and inputs work well. I have 2 set up on work laptop. Keyboard, mouse and 2 monitors all connect smoothly to my work laptop through 1 USB-C. I will say that I had to connect my separate web cam to one of the monitors through a lower “exterior” USB-C. The main ones would not recognize it. This is a flaw that should be corrected on the next generation.

Overall, this monitor has a very nice display! I highly recommend it for using it with laptops! It is very nice for desktops, as well, but only as a secondary monitor. NOT as a primary monitor! The problem that I have with this monitor is that Dell made it stubbornly locked into Energy Star mode and there is no way to change that. Basically, the monitor goes to a deep sleep state very quickly and it is very slow to come back on, even when a specific video input is chosen. This means that if you have a desktop PC and when you boot (or cold start) your PC or restart your PC, then you will NEVER see the results of the Power On Self-Test (POST) results or the option to go into your computer's BIOS settings to make any changes, or change which drive you want to boot from. I do not even see a glimpse of Windows starting up, for crying out loud. Good luck if you have a high-end desktop, like an AMD ThreadRipper 7000 series and the system decides to train the RAM on startup. Dell has not offered any firmware updates, at this time, for this Monitor to allow the power / energy state to be managed as we see fit. I regret buying this monitor, but it is still functional as a secondary desktop monitor. My u2715H is my goto - after all these years. Come on Dell, get your act together!!!

Like most of my Dell monitors over the years but this one has a Thunderbolt hub included, which means I don’t need a separate hub.

Este monitor me encanta. Sus cuatro bordes son finos e imperceptibles. Es un monitor que desaparece en mi setup, no impone, no se nota. Tiene el tamaño perfecto para que esté ahi como simple herramienta. Me da la capacidad de activar mi estación de trabajo utilizando solamente 1 cable usb tipo C. Teclado, mouse y audio los conecto al monitor. Además, el daisy chain es una joya. Extiendes otro cable usb tipo C de este Dell a otro monitor y ya no hay necesidad de conectarlo a tu computadora.
