I purchased Iya Foods GlutenFree Hibiscus Flower Powder 4 Ounces, Kosher Certified (Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Powder,Dry Roselle Powder) Non GMO, No Preservative on June 23, 2019 and received within two days. I used the 1 TBSP of Hibiscus Flower Powder in my morning smothies and once a month add to my monthly DIY deep conditioned hair masks. So far I have experienced the benefits of Hibiscus Flower Powder outlined on wiseshe.com as follows: "Hibiscus is immensely beneficial in improving hair health due to its vitamin C and amino acid rich composition. Here are few benefits of hibiscus for hair. It prevents the premature graying of hair when used as hair oil or hair pack. In rare cases use of hibiscus has also shown signs of premature graying reversal. Hibiscus is also known to combat hair loss in men and women. Hibiscus is good for all skin types & scalps. So, even people with sensitive scalps too can use it. It has not shown any allergic reaction however, it is always recommended to do a patch test before. Hibiscus makes the hair roots and strands stronger & shinier. Hibiscus conditions hair and keeps them bouncier."Reversal of heath and improve wellness isn't instantaneous or without flexibility in experimentation. Good option
I bought this because I am trying to use natural products for food coloring. I read this can make read. As far as cookies and frosting are concerned I got more of a pink color for frosting and purple for cookies. You can change the color a little depending on how much pigment you use but it's not great for the color red, so I would've given a 4.5 if possible because other than the color I really like the results. There is a little flavor so unless you don't like the flavor of hibiscus you won't mind because it's a mild flavor.

HUGE BAG, EXCELLENT COLOR & SMELL!
Absolutely recommend this company: the giant bag I bought was filled with sweetly scented, deeply dark calyxes, that colour your infusions to a dusky red, with excellent palatability, the perfect mix of sweet & tart. I use mine mostly medicinally (Clinical Herbalist, here), but also for teas and for cooking (former Chef). Perfect for all these uses.

Magical
Wow, it's amazing how true it must be when some people say every thing we need to get better is already here on earth and much healthier than synthetic drugs and their side effects. The first day I drank about 3 cups of hibiscus tea cold my blood pressure was best I've ever seen. Without medication it's usually 150s over 90s.I just think it's great how well this works. I haven't went off my medication because I don't drink the hibiscus every day but I think in time with consistent diet and exercise I'll be off the medication and still enjoying this beverage from time to time. The only concern I have with the amount of hibiscus I was drinking which lowered my blood pressure also elevated my B12. I did find a study on this by The National Center for Biotechnology Information. While this may be a benefit for those with deficient B12, I'm not sure if it's good for mine to be elevated. The photos are pics of blood pressure reading with just hibiscus beverage and no medication. The higher reading was taken while on a blood pressure medication which apparently isn't working as it should.I do not strain the powder. I drink it all gritty and what not.

Good tasting, but very grainy
VERY yummy! But I will have to sift it to get the icky chunks out. This is my first try using powdered hibiscus — I usually use whole so wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s grainy, but the taste is tart and fresh.
