Great product. Very easy to use. Battery lasts a very long time. Easy to transfer audio files over to laptop. Audio is clear. Very small and lightweight.

I'm really pleased with this dictaphone. It picks up sounds very well, and it's simple to use, and easy to get the recordings off and onto a more permanent device. The only issue I had with it, is that it comes with a USB 'C' lead to plug into a device, but my C' cable is an old style and doesn't fit the dictaphone. I used a spare one I have at home, so I could get to the files, but do check it fits, if you buy one!

Great device! I used this for my dissertation to record interviews and it worked very well. The device is secure as you can input a code to access the audio files and it is easy to transfer them to your computer. The design is small and sleek, I think it look very professional. The buttons are small (I found it slightly difficult to press them at times because my nails are long, but it is not too much of a bother). The memory capacity seems very good, but I have only stored 6, 1 hour interviews on it at one time. If your voice is quite soft or quiet, you will want to place the device closer to you so you can hear it better. Although you can select different settings (e.g. if you are in a noisy environment or something like that) I find that my quiet voice is not always clear for transcribing. However, when I speak up, it picks my voice up well. The battery lasts for a while too.

Have had this voice recorder for a week or 2 now and if you're looking for a small simple to use and all round great quality voice recorder then this is more than enough. Ease of use- Extremely easy to use is no different to any of the recorders is this price range a simple flick of a switch powers on and another flick of the recording switch starts recording it really couldn't be anymore simple than that. Forwards and backwords buttons to scroll through recordings which also if held down will fast forward and rewind. Build quality- Great build quality, feels professional and looks great too. Recording quality- I have used this to record phone calls due to a personal matter and you don't realise just how handy these little recorders are, i know that everytime i press record it's doing its job and i can focus on the conversation I'm having. The recording quality its great and so is the built in speakers to listen back to recordings but if you were to be using this to record lectures or business meetings you can plug the device into a laptop or computer and play the recorded files through the laptop speakers if the audio from the recorder is not loud enough for you. Battery life- I have not charged this device, it had come with full charge and i have used it on 2/3 conversations all over 15mins and it still has full charge. Overall a handy little device that does what it says and in my opinion is no different to the other voice recorders which are £10 more. Bought this for work as have to take minutes of meetings and sometimes struggle to keep up if there are more than 2 people talking. Wasn't sure if this would help but its a great help. Its super clear and I can hear everyone talking no static sounds. Records for ages no limit yet on how long it can record which was the problem with my phone. Play back is easy to do and I can type up the notes easily. I can also keep a separate folder now with the actual recordings of the meetings at work all labelled and timed and dated so thats really helpful. Overall im really happy with this its easy to use, battery lasts ages and it does what its supposed to. Love the fact that its small as well so not a huge thing sitting taking up space on the table or in my bag. I would highly recommend this if you are looking for something like this.

I ordered 10 of these for some research work that started last week. Overall very good quality voice recorders. They are quite sensitive though so picking a lot of surrounding noice. Two of them just stopped charging, tried using different chargers with no luck.

I bought one of these to do interviews at my local parkrun for the run report. I wanted something small where I could capture everything being said over writing on a pad where I sometimes miss important detail. I bought this on the strength of the reviews on Amazon and therefore wanted to give my thoughts or just my positives and any negatives so without further ado: Positives + Small & light + Great sound quality + Uses Headphones (wired though unfortunately) + Picks up sound extremely well, I was using it on a windy day and I could hear every word + Solid build quality + Easy to use Negatives - When it’s idle it will switch off but to turn it back on again you have to switch it off and on again - Can take a while before it starts recording - Rewinding and Forwarding when listening back can be tricky as sometimes it just skips to the next recording and you can’t listen to where you are and have to go on time - No external memory Verdict I am happy with it, it does what I need to too although I would have liked the ability to moved through the recording better on the device itself. It has a bit for a wrist attachment on the bottom and would have liked this to be provided and I would have preferred USB-C charging but this is a personal preference.
