Fab little gate to stop my dog going to my upper patio during winter -- I dont want to break my neck on the steps if icy if she goes to do her business . . Easy to install and use and arrived quickly. . Plastic so should stand up to the weather if not I can order another one for the price . . May not be suitable for a larger dog as it is quite small but its great for my little one

It's good if your dogs aren't going to hurl themselves at it. Skirting boards get in the way. If you have deep skirting boards you need to position above them. Which means a small dog may get under it

I believed it opened, rather than acted wholly as sliding door. 4 rubber like pressure pads from from corners of frame (once clicked on), unfortunately do not really emerge very much. Tried using those separate adaptors that sit onto walls, to assist in this, with limited success (ie no much). Plus not reliable for stairs - your skirting board, bottom bannister section to right of stairs or variations in your bannister frame, may work against setting it up. Though installs better against a plain doorway. Also seems not sturdy nor reassuring enough wrt toddlers, especially re a staircase. The white plastic frame is not aesthetically bad looking, is ok to look at, but continuing on with my first observation, once slid inwards, nothing to prop whole frame up with. Therefore you set aside the whole frame or it falls over, ie by accident it gets knocked off at one side, not like a gated one, which is always there. That was unclear to me when purchasing. Has an average safety gate height, light to carry compared to metal ones. Though also noticed it has a tendency to jam or lock. One has to keep turning beige rectangular key (ont op) anticlockwise, and hopefully sooner rather than later, it will allow you to slide again, choose your width for your wall gap etc.

Really useful, fits nigh on all doorways including front door. Highly recomment

Bought this to use as temporary barrier to stop my cat getting out as I came in and out. This was very stiff to pull open to size, wouldn’t stand up and was a little warped so fell over! Useless and it isn’t cheap either, I’d expected a lot better for its price. I’ve bought a different barrier that’s a lot cheaper which is perfect for what I need. Not impressed with this product at all,

This is a sturdy stair gate, that can stand on its own, and doesn’t need fixing to the wall. I have2 little dogs and it stops them going upstairs, thanks from a satisfied customer

One of the sliders came off (beige bit) after 2nd use and realised part missing to keep it there. And when you tighten it to keep it between rooms it does not always stay and clicks off and collapses. Waste of my money.
