Question 1

I'm traveling from the US to New Zealand. Is this the right power converter to charge US products over there?

Accepted Answer

I'm not sure. I got this one for use in China and it was perfect. This is not a converter. It's an adapter so you can plug into their different outlets. All my chargers work on 110 or 220 so I didn't need a converter. When I found mine I googled adapter and China. I think Europe is different so New Zealand may be also.

Question 2

Travelling from the US to Australia. Just to clarify, I can take a USB cable and plug it into here and then into the wall to charge?

Accepted Answer

No, just as you can't plug a USB cable into a US wall socket; instead you need a USB converter which plugs into a wall socket and you then connect the USB cable to the converter. This device simply changes the format of the prongs of the plug so you would take the USB converter and plug it into this device and then plug the cable into the USB converter just as you would in the US. Don't forget that the voltage in Australia, NZ and so on is 220V so the USB converter must be able to handle that voltage.

Question 3

I have a phillips shaver from china, and i want to use it in u.s, dose this product work for this situation?

Accepted Answer

No, this is to use in China. You'll need the US version as shown here:https://www.amazon.com/OREI-Universal-Grounded-Adapter-Black/dp/B00DTRHB5I/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1497631520&sr=8-3&keywords=orei+type+b+adapter

Question 4

Is there any voltage restriction or anything like that?

Accepted Answer

This is designed for products that are dual voltage such as cell phone chargers, laptop chargers, etc.. It will not work with 120V only items since it doesn't convert the voltage.
