Perfect for a new vortex viper pst 6x24x50 on an Ar10 with a 1913 railed handgaurd up front. The main concern i had; would it clearance the scope away from the handgaurd rail w/o touching. The answer: The front of the scope clearances the rail with magpul rail ladders installed nicely and has a decent but not excessive gap. I also lapped the rings a little with a tool I already had. The rings seemed aligned well enough, but there was a noticeable change in the contact area after doing a few passes with the lapping tool. Overall not bad for the $$. Beats shelling out $400 for a larue qd mount, especially when i already had a lapping tool for the 30mm rings. ;) I'll do some zero tests this summer and update this review if i have issues. I like to store the rifle and scope seperate due to space limitations in the safe, so having a somewhat quick detachable mount is a big plus.

It’s a good mount. The height I needed. I used it on a AR10 6.5 creedmoor with a Vortex 5x25x50 Viper ffp.
