Defective material in this latest batch
Change in manufacturing process. New version similar but not identical. Previous version minimal quality but worked. New version absolutely not workable. Three different crimpers, three different results, none producing a working result. Crimper one now unable to crush the connector, the connector is slightly thicker. Crimper two now leaves connectors loose after crimping, recrimping will not tighten loose connector, changing crimp heads does not work. Crimper three tightens on wire but the metal on the pins cracks and flakes off. It appears the metal has been made slightly thicker, less malleable, and subject to fracturing under the required load. Too bad, was a perfect connector until this last batch.

When I crimp the stud to the wire it breaks the stud. Does not work

Did not work for me
Impossible to fit in 8AWG made by National Wire & Cable that are made in the USA. The wires are just too thick to fit in the MC4 sleeve.
