Very pleased with ease of installation, function and appearance. I bought 24 to replace all the old can lights.Color selection is good as is light quality. Night light color is very pleasing. Dims smoothly and no flicker with a compatible LED dimmer.

Awesome lights. I have recommended them to so many friends and family already. They are brighter than our old led lights. The setup is very straightforward however I would highly recommend everyone go out and buy wire clamps because the J-box has very sharp edges that will cut through your wires. Do not hesitate to buy these. They are solid especially for the price.3 minor quirks I personally would like to see upgraded. First, the night light is not bright enough to my liking. I have some from another brand Commercial Electric from Home Depot and those also have a night light but much brighter. However more expensive.Second, the spring clips are strong but can easily come apart if not careful.Lastly the J-box is too small, if you need to run another cable to daisy chain another light it will be a very tight fit. However this is the same for the Commercial electric brand.

SUMMARY:Really cool light, that doubles for higher ambience. Wholeheartedly recommend.PROS:Good light output and color in primary mode.Really nice color and output in secondary "ring light" mode.Both light modes work on a dimmer, so you can go from full bright in primary mode to super dim and warm in secondary, or anywhere in-between.CONS:None really. You do have to take your time between switching the modes, but not a lot.DETAILS:Got these used, but the idea seemed cool. Boy am I glad I did. These things are AWESOME! The first function is the primary down-light, which is plenty bright and is dimmable. Switch off then on again, you get the much warmer light just around the ring of the light that is more indirect (and dimmable). We've had fun playing with the different settings, and no matter if it's early morning, late night, or mid-day we can always find the right combination of light output and light color. (FYI, the ring light is really only good for use when it's dark outside).I'm in love with the ring light specifically, as it makes my living room look like a fancy movie theater. It also works really well as a night-light when dimmed, as it can be turned down to a 'just enough to see where you're going' brightness and not wake you up in the middle of the night.
