Really worth the money, well balanced and tasty.
I will start off by saying, I am not normally a fan of "bars.." but like eveyone day, like the convience of being able to have a balanced snack on the go, even if I'm just at home all day. They are on the pricer end of bars, but they are "meat/protein," bars, high quality, with some vegetables in there if I remember correctly. I'm also not a huge fan of eating meats, but these seem to be high quality and of a good source, and I feel they cut my hunger. What I like about these, too, is that they seem to digest well, and are soft, to chew, not tough, like jerky. If I had one critiscism is that these meat bars are a little on the sweet side for me, in terms of meat. I don't buy sweet and sour dinners, etc. not a fan of "sweet," with my food, unless maybe it's sweet and hot like Thai food. My husband loves these for work, keeping his energy going, and the lamb ones are actually my personal favorite, but these are in second place, and get the turkey for variety. They seem to be smaller, weight less than other meat bars, but satisfy just as much. For me they are worth the money, because my health is worth it.

First time and enjoying the different flavors
So far the ones I have had meet the AIP protocol for the elimination phase and the taste is good - the lamb so far my favorite. Glad for the sample pack to evaluate ones to order next. So grateful to find a product for the times you are hangry and need food and no time to prepare!

Cost too much
I got the variety pack so I’ve tried them all. I will say they all taste good. The texture is soft, and not stringy at all, more cake like. Yet they are savory, not sweet. I really did like them. But oh my gosh, so EXPENSIVE for the amount you receive in each pack. Two small pieces is all you get. I won’t get it again.

Good gluten free protein snack
These have a strong taste but keep well and are great for macros. They are little pieces, like 2-3. They do not have tomatoes or potatoes, which was the big motivation to buy.

Even my dog wouldn't eat them
I wanted to like these...but man, they are pretty darn disgusting. I read the ingredients and I'm kinda amazed at just how bad they taste, since all the ingredients are good -- great even. How you can combine them and end up with a spongy blend of blah is beyond me. The spices are both TOO strong, and yet somehow not strong enough -- like one or two spice profiles were used heavily at the expense of any others. I'm not normally very picky either -- I'll eat almost anything -- but I found myself struggling to get through this one box. Months later, I finally forced myself to eat the last one -- the Italian herbs one -- and it was so unpleasant, I felt compelled to write a review. I was rather stunned to see the overall rating of 4.0. That IS rather low for groceries, but not nearly as low as it should be. Furthermore, they aren't even that healthy. And the protein content is only meh. AND they are expensive.

A suprising quality product
What I had assumed to be another jerky bar, but with what we first worlders would call a gamey taste actually exceeded my expectations and changed my perceptions of the product. The mutton itself is not hard, like you would find in some other jerky bars, but soft and pliable. But its not completely mush, as the addition of the dried fruit in the mix gives it some body and chew. Overall the texture has two distinct feels, and is pleasing to the palate. The lamb is distinctly lamb, but it does not have an overt gamy taste, yet is distinct from other beef based bars. The most objectionable part of the bar is the Rosemary. Not as a flavoring, of course, as the rosemary offers a very floral pop in comparison to the heaviness of the other ingredients. No, the objection comes to the size of the spice, where you may be digging a chunk of conifer out of your molars after you have devoured the bar. And although the portion size may seem small, after consumption the hearty nature of the ingredients is actually quite satisfying. With the miniscule weight involved, this is a treat I would gladly take hiking.

VERY VERY GOOD!
Very healthy and delicious! This is similar to pemmican. This is a great option for those who have trouble with their teeth. This is not chewy and tough like jerky. All the flavors in this variety pack are so good, that I honestly don't know which is my favorite. I have posted a photo of what one ounce looks like, it isn't much, but it has 7 grams of protein per oz. The one negative thing I might mention is that I did crunch down on a tiny bone fragment one or twice when eating these, so if that grosses you out, that might be something to keep in mind.
