At Last - Not Long Shorts
As of this review, I've been wearing these shorts regularly for almost a month - say at least 15 wears given we're in the hot part of the year. They are either on me or being washed. They are exactly what I wished for: well-made, fit as expected and they look good. I don't feature the current trend in short that makes me look like a smaller basketball player due to them coming down almost to my knees. For me, shorts should be short - no more than 6" or 15 cm. These are 5.5" or maybe 13 cm. In other words, perfect.I like everything about this garment and can find nothing to complain about. I'm happy and if this sort of short is what you're looking for, it's likely you'll enjoy them too.

Very comfortable, but not all the same
Been looking for some shorts that actually look like shorts to wear around town. These are perfect. Got the navy blue ones in size large, I'm 6'1" and 203 lbs, and they fit perfectly.Update 12 March 2019, after 4 months with these shorts:I now have 4 pair of these shorts, and they are mostly comfortable. The ones that "fit as expected" are great, but it seems each set is made different than the others. I have a navy blue short that is really comfy, but the back pocket is shallow and will barely hold my small wallet. I have a red set that seems like the crotch was made too shallow, and it does NOT fit comfortably. My yellow set is the best, comfy, length is perfect, and back pocket holds my wallet.Overall, I really like the shorts, just wish they were uniform in their creation. It's hit or miss for most of them.

Good stuff
Best short shorts I’ve owned, enough flex to move but not too much. The fabric is thick enough but still breaths well. Only issue is the. A little on the smaller side but I like it. The button on the back pocket fell off but that’s an easy fix

Comfortable shorts that fit well.
These shorts for great, and are very comfortable. I have a 32” waist with a larger butt and thicker thighs, and these were exactly the fit I was looking for. I gave them 4 stars because the button fell off the first time I re-buttoned it after using the bathroom. I sewed it back on but that’s pretty annoying right off the bat. Other than the button, the material doesn’t feel flimsy, and stretches well.Overall though, for $30 it’s a great value for the money. Very easy to move around, and they fit great with the shorter seam for hot days and showing off all of the squats you’ve done at the gym.

Nice shorts
Over priced for the quality. They fit well, but are not rugged for daily use, More a "dress up shorts"!

Best Men's Short Shorts
I wear these as everyday shorts for much of the year. I have bought them several times in various colors. The pockets are deep and secure, so I can carry all my stuff. They launder well. The fabric is rugged and stands up to active use.I'm 5'11" and 160# with a 32" waist. The 29-31 medium fits perfectly. I've worn a lot of 5" shorts from a lot of makers. These are the best.

Very poor fit
Wow! – there seems to be a major sizing issue with these shorts. Some people find them too big, others too small. I have a 33” waist so I got size L based on the chart in the listing. Waist was OK but the hips and legs were way too big. I’m an ecto-meso male – looks like these were designed to someone a lot more pear shaped than me. Based on the conflicting size comments I’m wondering if sizing changes with color choice. I’d ordered ‘Original Khaki’ size large – here are the measurments:Waist 30” – 36” (fully stretched)Hips 40”Leg Opening 26”I returned mine – hope you get a better fit.

Nice shorts
I bought both small and medium as my son has a 29" waist and is 5'5". He likes the 5" length They are made of a sturdy material. 100% cotton. so i washed the medium first as they were a little big but they did shrink a bit for a perfect fit. He really likes them and they are nice enough to be dressy shorts or just everyday shorts. We will be buying more. so far the cheapest dress shorts for his size I could find.

Might be cheaper than Chubbies but not the same quality
I'm on the short side so normal 9" inseam shorts are like long pants on me so had been looking for something shorter.Had never heard of Chubbies so being cheaper than them wasn't a selling point, the 5.5" inseam was what intrigued me as shorter shorts are nowhere to be found here in Australia.I'm really happy with the length but got to say the finish of the sewing was pretty poor. Loose threads everywhere and never sure if it's just safe to cut these off for fear that will start an avalanche of unraveling threads. Would hate for my bot bot to pop out in public or even worse if Mr Todger was to make an unexpected appearance.I decided to buy a genuine pair of Chubbies to compare. These are made in China and the Chubbies came from Vietnam but the quality was worlds apart, there wasn't a loose thread anywhere of the Chubsters, very neat stitching all around compared to these and the quality of the material is much better on the Chubsters as well.So these are comfortable enough to wear around the house and yes I did cut off all the loose threads but the Chubsters will be the only ones to make a public appearance as I don't want to frighten the woman and children with an unscheduled view of the frank and beans!
