I have been buying Ripple as a milk alternative for several years now from the dairy case at the grocery store. The problem is that the stores don't stock enough of it and I frequently have had to substitute flax milk. The Ripple original unsweetened has the fat/carb/protein nutrient balance I want and it tastes very close to (as I vaguely remember it...) 2% dairy milk. It froths up great in my little electric frother pitcher and makes a lovely latte. This shelf stable version is also good and is something I can keep on hand as backup for when I can't get the fresh refrigerated version. It actually froths up a little denser than to refrigerated one, which is great for latte.

Not sure I how I discovered this protein rich, healthy, and not to sweet beverage that makes my body happy, but so glad I did. It actually froths nice with my daily iced matcha and elevates added flavors, like blueberry flavored water. ONE TIP FOR PRODUCT TEAM: please redesign the cap ... I am tired of spilling every single time I shake. It just needs one more thread! It's also perfect for OA hands. I LOVE THIS STUFF! Not bad with Kahlua too! don't ever stop production of the good stuff! (easy packaging for sub & save)

No longer available. I hope it comes back. It's good to have backup available in the shelf-stable packaging. Tastes fine, holds up, smooth texture. Good value.

I can’t have dairy so I’ve tried every dairy alternative and this is one of my favorites. We actually discovered it while doing Whole30 and I still use it. My husband can have cow’s milk but he loves this brand and also uses it regularly. We both put it in our coffee because it’s the perfect consistency and has a very pleasant flavor. I love that it has more protein too. During hurricane season especially I like to stay stocked up on certain things we use a lot but I don’t want my fridge stuffed full so this is perfect because it’s shelf stable.

Just a heads-up—there are two versions of Ripple shelf-stable milk: a smaller bottle (which I’ve tried and honestly found way too watered down), and this larger one, which is noticeably better. It’s still not quite the same as the refrigerated Ripple version—it has a slightly different texture and taste—but it’s decent, especially if you're having trouble finding the refrigerated kind like I am. While it’s not perfect, it does the job as a pantry-friendly plant-based milk option. Definitely go with this version over the smaller one if you’re choosing between the two.

The best milk replacement I've tried, in terms of taste and texture is easily Ripple Unsweetened Original Plant Based Milk. If you can't have dairy this is definitely worth a try.
