which ocean or country does this salt come from?

Hi - it comes from a salt water lagoon on the Pacific coast of Mexico. The salt is processed organically by hand and solar evaporation. Does that answer your question?

Can I store this in a container? Say a bamboo box (since you can just pinch this salt)?

Yes - storing in a bamboo box is excellent. That's what I use to store mine. Because salt is a mineral, and anti-microbe it does not go bad, doesn't get moldy, etc. We are in fact looking to add a bamboo box salt cellar to our list of hard good items for our customers.I hope that helps!Geordie WardmanCo FounderSaltRevolution
