It's my birth stone , so I was very pleased with the ring. I had previously ordered the ring in gold with a red stone ,I returned it because both the red stone and the gold ring looked like c h e a p costume jewelry. [from a different supplier]

A very nice ring
This is a very nice ring. It fits well and I get constant compliment. The only thing is that the stone is not as bright or red as in picture. It's more like maroonish but overall very nice ring.
