Great price point
It is not great quality. Thin plastic that is squeezable. However, the price is comparable for the quality received. My 5yo is obsessed with Godzilla and wanted King Kong to go with his collection. This guy was perfect and 5yo was thrilled.

The one star reviews are cracking me up
Obviously this figure has attracted the attention of some buyer who know nothing about Bandai pvc figures, lol. The positives: cool sculpt, nice detail, good paint (which can be lacking in recent Bandai's), overall looks pretty good The negative: the arms have to be just right to find the balance and get it to stand on it's own. Kind of a bummer since I ordered this with a Bandai Rodan that does not stand up at all.

An ape-like creature... how hard would it be to design him wrong? This guy is no generic ape though.
As with all figures from Bandai's Movie Monster series (a vast improvement from the figures offered in stores like Walmart) no disappointment here. Anyone from Amazon who reads my reviews is probably tired of hearing this... estimated delivery times, actual date of delivery, secure packaging, all of it was great as usual. The figure itself doesn't fall victim to the "Oh an ape creature? Make him a generic gorilla and be done with it" school of thought. You would think it would be easy to just do that, but nope, this guy looks pretty good, like all these movie kaiju figures. I have had no cases of breakage as some reviewers on here have (I have no kids though and thus he's only a display piece, so maybe that's why) and he stands up fine for not having a tale like many kaiju figures.

Great toy!
The sculpting and paint is very nice, a lovely figure for the collection and good price too. I’m sure any Godzilla/King fan would be happy to have this, although he doesn’t stand well on his own

Perfect addition Nice addition to the growing line of Bandai figures
Cool addition to the Bandai Monster Movie series. They are often difficult to find in the US. It was a great surprise to see Ban Dai produce a new Kong figure and he looks great. Their original 60's kong is worth a small fortune now. Also great to find it at a fair price. These go for 3 times as much on eBay.

Die Nachbildung ist der Kongfigur im Film sehr ähnlich. Schade das keine Axt mitgeliefert wird. Die Hand der Vinylfigur hab ich leicht geöffnet.
