Does the strap use normal spring bars so it can be easily swapped with a third party strap?

Yes the strap was easy to remove and put a third party band on using the same spring bars.

Is the case material metal or resin?

Resin plastic with a glued on thin stainless shell.

How can i get the users manual in english?

Just use an English version of another 3-button Casio watch. I use the manual I have for an old Casio watch Model No. 5161.

How do I set the correct time ?

It would be best to go online and download the PDF operation guide 5161. A must have for this watch’s functionality, including on how to set the time!
