Incredible Writing
Jake is probably one of the most relatable characters I have ever read. The characters, the fight scenes, and even the political aspect of the story are handled wonderfully. I would definitely recommend it.

Awesome LitRPG
I’ve read every single book in the series to date and the story doesn’t disappoint. This series is well written and I highly recommend it to everyone.Plan to continue reading Jake’s Adventures and the Heretic Chosen of the Malefic Viper.

Love the recap at the beginning, keep them coming
This is the ninth book in the series. If you liked the past ones, you're going like this one. What I really like are the beginning recaps by the author. They are fun to read with the authorputting in some personality into them. I jump around from book series to book series as they are released, and sometimes it takes a bit to get back into the storyline. All writers should add these recaps and make them fun like this one.

Enjoyable story
As with the previous books, battle scenes get a bit long winded from time to time and there are status and skill upgrades to skim/skip over. Nevertheless, the characters and story continue to be interesting and enjoyable. And dear author, if you're reading this, thanks for the recap at the beginning. When I read books back to back, I occasionally skip the recap. When it's been a minute-- for example, when I've had to wait for the next book to be published-- it is quite helpful to be reminded where things left off. When no such recap is provided, my enjoyment of the first few chapters is lessened as I have to flounder around until I remember which minor characters are which and why we care about them. The recap serves as a memory prompt, so no floundering is needed and the enjoyment immediately begins. So thank you for writing them. And thank you for writing about Jake and his friends. It is truly a novel and interesting tale.

This book does a great job of building the story. I’m so looking forward to what comes next.
The Viper’s back story is getting more and more interesting. I’m looking forward to learning more about the 1st Sage in particular. Actually the book is full of interesting characters that could have big roles to play in the future. I am kind of left wondering how someone like William got left behind. He seemed like he would be Jake’s nemesis in the beginning, only to be left behind later? One thing is for sure the next book will be intense. The interactions between Jake and his teammates along with the high stakes competition between Jake and Ell’Hakan will make for some top notch entertainment. The entire story has been outstanding since the beginning. Definitely worth a second run through.

This series is epic! Follow Jake as he walks the path of the Primal Hunter!
What an epic series. And I loved the book! As I have listened to Travis Baldree read every one of 'em. And Jake keeps getting stronger and leveling his class he continues to follow the path as the Primal Hunter to become the apex hunter. So to his friends are also leveling keeping up by following their own paths. All of 'em planning to group up and dungeon dive into the unknown depths of the Neverwhere dungeon. The most notorious dungeon in all the known universes. But that will only be revealed in book 10! 😆 And yes I can hardly wait for August.Grab the book and follow Jake on the path of the Primal Hunter. You'll wanna find out what happens on the way there. Here's a quote that amused me:"I see. Alright, then." Felix nodded, but he then seemed to have a thought. "Can I be your slave, the—" "No." "Oh…" Felix said, looking like a kicked puppy as he stared at the ground."

Damn Zogarth, back at it again.
This author is amazing. He is slowly becoming my favorite writer. His writing style, characters, the dialouge between them, the different universes, and so much more...Plus, his speed of finishing a book; his next one comes out in August! At this rate, he will be able to conceivably pump out 4 books a year, which is incredible! This book showcased Villy quite a bit, which was cool, he needs more screen time. He is such an OP god; I can't wait to see him and his Chosen wreck Yip of Yore and Eversmile. So the next book will focus mostly on Nevermore, which will be really cool. They have a new person to get used to, talking and fighting with.TL;DR- another great book with epic fights and intrigue. He showed his naiveté, and he also showed his skill and pride. I can't wait till August!

Excellent book
I loved the recap its very useful to get a reminder of what had happened before. There is lots to keep track of so a recap very handy thank you.As for this book it was a joy to read we get a bit of everything battle, world building some steady growth there are some nice moments of fun and humour too which keeps things interesting. I really liked the intrigue and plots as it shows the universe is a big and buy place where the main character has some power but is still a small fish in a big pond.I liked the pace of the book there was progress but also time to relax yet I was never bored.Stat sheets are minimal which is a bonus as too many can get repetitive and it pads out the audiobook which I am very much looking forward to.I liked the minimal angst and doubt the main character deals with there is enough to make him seem human but not so much the story suffers.I really liked getting insight into other characters and factions as the world created is a fascinating one.The author deserves thanks for his good work and all the hard work put into the series, the next book being available soon is such a bonus. This was a book that added nicely to the overall story and I look forward to the next. If you enjoyed the previous books you should love this one.

First review of the series
So, this is the first review I write about the series of the Primal Hunter. The first eight books were already out when I started the series and I had to wait some long months until this book came out.I love the series. The world building is fantastic, very complex and really well thought out. The characters are all loveable, not just Jake and his hilarious bond with Vinny. I love the humour as well.I already pre-ordered book ten and I was surprised I only have to wait until August for the ebook version. This book stays in my mind for a long time after reading it and I totally love the series. Also, note for the Author. I love your work and the recap in the beginning comes in clutch and is funny too.Another note for the Author. How many books are you planning to write?! I mean, I don't mind! Keep up the great work!
