BETTER Quality FAT extracted without using HEXANE!
I like the TANGY and COMPLEX flavor. The emulsification consistency was fine. It tastes most similar to Duke's but it has a DEEPER depth of FLAVOR. So far I've used it to make Tartar sauce, Chipotle Aioli mayo, Horseradish sauce, Tuna salad and Turkey club sandwiches. It tasted GREAT when used in those applications. The EXTRA flavor in this Mayo is from its unique use of Garlic and Onion powder that adds a nicely balanced seasoning. I would prefer if BETTER Body Foods would use pasture-raised eggs, ( instead of the meaningless cage-free conventional type) they would provide BETTER nutrition. I selected this Mayo to AVOID inexpensive GMO bean and seed oils These non organic bean and seed crops are routinely sprayed repeatedly with glyphosate during their growth, and again at their harvest, where it's used as a desiccant to speed up the crops time till harvesting. Their oil extraction process uses Hexane and heat ("Heating causes the oil to undergo a series of chemical reactions like oxidation, hydrolysis and polymerization that alters the oils chemical structure.") for efficient oil extraction. The pesticide residue (Trace residue can be carcinogenic ) and oxidation artifact removal processes now necessary, creates unpleasant odors and tastes, requiring further refining and deodorizing. This processing doesn't produce BETTER food. If you're watching your calories be careful because Avocado Mayo contains 110 calories per tablespoon, although that's quite similar to regular Mayo's, it has about 2 to 3 times more calories as the 35 to 50 calories found in most light Mayo's made with soybean or canola oil. Because this Avacado oil mayo is rich, creamy and densely flavorful you can just use 50 % less to keep the calories down and still be satisfied. According to many highly respected cardiologists, lipidologists, and credentialed dietitians, Omega-6 oils aren't all bad. It's just when they reduce or replace Omega-3 oils in their entirety that it becomes an issue. Inferior conventional omega-6 oils are used in highly processed foods because they are cheaper and increase profitability to the food manufacturer. Organic monounsaturated higher quality expeller pressed omega-6 oils are okay as long as you are also getting adequate levels of omega-3s in your diet, and not allowing them to be completely replaced by the more dominant use of many inferior Omega-6 Fats used in most highly processed foods currently produced! For a Mayo with a good Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio, combined with a high level of desirable monounsaturated fat, comparable to what's found in Avocado oil Mayo, I recommend Using Organic COLD EXPELLER PRESSED Canola oil, it would be a BETTER choice, but it wouldn't be any less expensive and you'd have to make it yourself. I did a search for it, but I couldn't find any! FOR COMPARISON: Avocado oil Mayo has a poor omega-6 to omega-3 ratio of 13:1, not IDEAL! Olive oil is 10:1, Soybean oil is 9:1, and Canola seed oil is 2:1, that's much BETTER and closer to IDEAL! To IMPROVE this Avocado oil mayo's poor 13:1 omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio, Better Body Foods should consider using a blend of 50% ORGANIC COLD EXPELLER PRESSED CANOLA OIL that has a 2:1 ratio, it would make the overall Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio BETTER at +/- 6:1 combined , while retaining its superior monounsaturated fat profile ! That would make this very good alternative to conventional Mayo closer to being truly a "BETTER BODY" FOOD! The 28oz. size of BETTER BODY FOODS Mayo is a little more than twice the regular price of conventional GMO canola seed or GMO soy bean oils Mayo's. The much higher cost of Avocado oil warrants the premium price of Better Body Foods mayo, because It contains non-organic fat that's been established through medical research, to be a more healthy monounsaturated fat, it also avoids the unwanted GLYPHOSATE (for weed control) and HEXANE (for oil extraction). Both are potentially toxic and inflammatory byproducts that All CONVENTIONAL seed and bean oil Mayo's typically contain. All seed oils are not bad just the ones that are grown, harvested and extracted using chemicals that produce unwanted byproduct residue! I want to AVOID THEM, so this product accomplishes that making it a BETTER choice!

Clean and authentic. A little pricey.
This is a clean, quality product offered by a privately owned American company. This doesn't taste like what your palat is probably used to regarding " Mayo" these days. It's very similar to what my grandmother made from scratch. ( She was born in 1926) You will notice an instant difference, tasting it directly from the jar. Not bad, just different. If I made you a sandwich or served you a salad ( pasta or otherwise) you would never know it's a healthy, authentic product. This is the real thing, not the seed oil, GMO crap that virtually all the big names in manufacturing have forced upon us slowly over the years. Since I started seeking out actual food with clean ingredients, something strange has happened. I'm no longer pre diabetic, no more fatty liver disease, no more high blood pressure, lost 40 pounds. Nothing hard to do. Seek the clean ingredients and don't drink sugar water. The price is high. I wouldn't pay much more, great product or not. I will support this company as long as I can, or until the almost inevitable " buyout" from the mega corporations with their shareholders and " cost cutting". That's the American Way! Great stuff!

The only seed-oil free mayo option for deviled eggs that I like
This is the only avocado oil mayo I’ve had that doesn’t lend a weird taste to deviled eggs. I thought I was just going have to put up with the odd flavor - and I was getting the highest rated stuff - first Chosen, and then Primal Kitchen. They are prob great for other applications but not deviled eggs. I HIGHLY recommend trying this brand if you are looking for seed oil free mayo for mayo-heavy recipes like deviled eggs and have been disappointed thus far. This might be a winner for you. :)

Great healthy choice
I really like this avocado oil mayo. It’s creamy, tastes clean, and doesn’t have that weird aftertaste some “healthier” mayos have. I use it for sandwiches, tuna/egg salad, and quick sauces, and when it’s normal, it’s honestly excellent. That said, my last order arrived separated like a little science experiment. I could mix it back, but for the price I wasn’t expecting that. Still a solid mayo and I’ll probably buy again, but the separation issue is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

2026 UC Davis study says this stuff is NOT 100% avocado oil
No longer buying this mayo and will start making my own olive oil mayo again. This product is not what is described on the label and failed the purity test in the below referenced study. What's the deal BetterBody? A 2026 study by University of California, Davis led by Dr. Selina Wang found that 89% of processed foods labeled as containing pure avocado oil were adulterated with cheaper oils like canola, safflower, or soybean. 71% of the mayo's failed.

Best mayo I've ever bought!
Most store bought mayo is full of garbage ingredients. This is the first mayo with REAL ingredients. You can taste the difference! My wife and I love it! This is the only mayo we buy now. 👍🏻

Tastes more like Kraft or Hellman's!!!
I'm a fan!! Made with simple ingredients, no seed oils! I've been looking for a mayonnaise that doesn't contain seed oils and I haven't been overly satisfied with anything until now. I grew up on Kraft mayonnaise and Hellman's mayonnaise both of which I still do like however neither of those manufacturers carries a 100% avocado oil product. I saw this product in a small size at Walmart so I thought it would try it and I really do like it! It's more of the flavor I am used to which is probably best described as eggy? I like the rich flavor that egg yolks provide and that seems to be missing in the other brands at least to my taste. The consistency was just fine as well, I've seen some complaints on that but I didn't find it watery or running. Definitely my favorite by far of the avocado only brands! This mayonnaise makes the recipes me and my family make taste more like we're used to with traditional mayonnaise so I picked up the larger size here at Amazon!

Great mayo, but beware when purchasing online
I love this mayo because of the clean ingredients and I use it frequently. The store where I usually buy it stopped carrying it, so I ordered it here. The mayo is normally good for a year or so when I buy it in stores, so I purchased 4 containers expecting them to pay for a long time. When they arrived, I found that they all expire in a little less than 3 months, which means they've been sitting on the shelf for a long time. Even worse, the contents of one jar had completely separated, so that it looked like a jar of oil. I shook it vigorously to see if it would return to a usable state, but now it's just an extremely low viscosity liquid (picture attached). In this seller's defense, the consistency of the other 3 jars are what I would expect from this mayo (picture also attached). In short, the mayo is normally great, and I am sure the other 3 jars are up to my usual expectation. Just be aware that they may have an expiration date sooner than you would get from purchasing it at the store. And as for the oil separation, I have seen that happen with this mayo from time to time, as is expected with natural ingredients, but it is normally just a small amount of separation at the top, and you can stir it back together with no issue. Complete oil separation, rendering the jar unusable was a first for me. It is probably better to play it safe and just find a store that sells this mayo and buy it there, because it really is good stuff, hence the 3 stars despite the lessons learned from this purchase.

A Great Pantry Find!
I was searching for a healthier version of mayo and I am so happy I found this. It is a great pantry find. It is really pleasant tasting and we feel so much better knowing we are using a product that uses good oils. Amazon has always been my most trusted platform that has a wide range of products and provides very good items and very good service.

Decepcionante
