Q: How can i stop it leaking everytime i sip

I have had one for about 4 months and I click the lid shut a it has never leaked either by the mouth piece or the where the lid screws on. If you have one that leaks I would send it back because it shouldn't.

Never have put hot liquid in it, but it goes in my dishwasher and that gets pretty hot.

Q: Does it have a small handle on the lid to carry it easily? Doesnt look like it from the image

No, there isn't a handle. I find the pop-up lid is quite a tight fit too, taking quite a bit of pressure to open. It may get looser, but on my one my wife struggles to open it.
