Allerscreen Nasal Filters - Seasonal and Dust Allergies Aid, Ultra-Thin Mesh for Breathability (Combo Pack S/M/L/XL)

These filters are the answer to allergies that are not helped all that well by antihistamines. I can be sniffling up a storm, but right after I pop these in, I can breathe again. I was ordering the 3S size and they fit well, but because I wore them lower in my nose to effectively cover my nostrils, the little loop hung down a bit more than if the filters were farther up my nose. I tried the 2S, which the WoodyKnows website said was the right fit for my nose measurement, and they didn't seal off my nostril correctly, so back they went - I'll stick with the larger size. I got tired of people thinking I had something clear dripping from my nose when they saw the loop, so I painted the loop with metallic nail polish. It makes it look so much like a nose ring that I've had a couple of young women compliment me on it! It may not be age appropriate (I'm 63) but I don't feel so self conscious now. I do not clean these in a jewelry cleaner. Each time I take them off, I drop them in a glass with water and an antibacterial denture cleanser tablet. I leave them in for an hour or two or overnight, then rinse them off and let them dry. I buy them in the 3 pack so I always have a dry one to wear. I've been using these since last fall and haven't had a sinus infection in 10 months, which is a very good stretch for me.If your allergies contribute to sinus infections, try these filters - you won't regret it. After about 6 months to a year (depending upon how often you wear them) you should replace them; they get a little distorted from being inserted and removed multiple times and may not seal as well. All in all, a life-changing product for me.

No necesitan abrirlo para darse cuenta que se le caería al ponérselo porque el separador es muy largo 😑 aún el talla s y lo otro es que trae todas las sizes cómo si la nariz fuera de distintos tamaños 🙄 yo según lo pedí s y me salió todos tamaños y lo quiero devolver pero no acepta devolución. Cuando lo ordene bien leí que tenía 30 días para devolverlo.

These things are amazing. Only drawback for me is that I can't sleep in them (apparently I pull them out during the night and send them to a different dimension- have lost 2 pairs this way so far). They did make me feel a bit stifled at first, but got used to them in a day or so. I imagine the stifled sensation would be worse if one is starting with already congested passages though. They've been most useful in helping me avoid becoming a sneezy, snotty, teary, red-eyed mess while cleaning. Runny noses make them slip out, so I've learned to put them on before starting the cleaning and avoid touch them again until the dust has settled (at least 30 mins after cleaning is done, if not a couple of hours). Go wash hands of dust/allergens if need to adjust during cleaning. Tl;dr: they're very helpful as *preventatives* for some allergic reactions. May not be comfortable for breathing if there's already congestion and will definitely slip out of runny noses.

I took these to burning man and they were somewhat effective.

Great little gizmo. Actually works. I've worn it daily for 4 weeks and haven't had to take Sudafed or Tylenol once and that's saying a lot. Most of the time I forget I'm wearing it but I have had a few people notice it. But I don't care. The alternative is many drugs through the day along with headaches and sinus pressure. Even the Sudafed didn't work as well as this. I still use my nasal spray each morning and take a Claritin. I have really bad allergies. The one thing I've noticed most about wearing this is that I don't get the swollen nasal passages and pressure in the sinuses. I'm not sure why that is. I always had that...even with the Claritin and the nasal spray and the Sudafed and Tylenol. You just have to try it for yourself. I have serious allergies and have always looked for alternatives to the many drugs. As an aside, I chose this over the Shark Tank nasal dams as it's reusable and no tape on the outside of my nose.

It works as expected, but doesn't sit well in the nose, you feel it all the time.

I had a job where a lot of fine dust was constantly in the air, and wearing a full mask all day just wasn’t realistic—it got hot, uncomfortable, and wasn’t always practical. I started looking for an alternative and came across these nasal filters, and honestly, I’m glad I gave them a try. They were way more comfortable than I expected. Once they were in, I barely noticed them, and they didn’t feel awkward or irritating in my nose, even after hours of wear. They don’t block everything the way a mask does, of course, but for situations where a mask is inconvenient or overkill, these really made a difference. I could breathe more easily and didn’t end up with that scratchy, irritated feeling in my throat and nose by the end of the day. It’s not something I ever thought I’d use, but now I keep a pack on hand just in case. Definitely a smart option for dusty environments where a mask isn’t ideal.

It’s a great product

I've bought Woody Knows mouse filters for a few years now and they have been brilliant.... Until this year. First thing was the filter changed for a metal one, which distorted so that it didn't cover the entire plastic holder and now they have this new extended piece between the two sides that sticks out so much that it looks ridiculous. Previously they were very discrete... now they are completely obvious and look really strange. Also... they are really really hard and uncomfortable. Not at all the soft, discrete, comfortable product like before. Absolutely unusable. Previously these filters have been a hugely important part of my life as I have some serious allergies. Now I will have to look elsewhere. Shame... why change such a good product?

I was diagnosed with allergic to the environment. I sneeze crazy every day especially in spring time when all Plants are releasing pollen. Itchy eyes & stuffy nose are regular visitors every year. With this nasal filter, i have been off medication for a month. I still sneeze but way less. Most important no stuffy nose. I'm so happy with this product. I'd ordered a perfect fit pair following the measuring guide from the company website. I recommend this product to every friend I know who is suffering from hay fever.

I was quite sceptical, but I have such terrible hay fever that I hate summers, they are a totally miserable experience for me even when using anti-histamines my days are filled with constant sneezing fits that are so bad I can damage my ribs and constant runny nose. I put these in yesterday. The fit is not quite perfect (but a quick correspondence with WoodyKnows and what we think are the right size are on their way) - but the effect is DRAMATIC. I have not sneezed once. Not once! Yes, my nose is sometimes a little itchy and there is a build up of mucus that needs occasional wiping/blowing - but its nothing compared to before. I have not been shying away from pollen either - went for a fast mountain bike ride through the WOODS last night nose was fine (eyes were a disaster - but there are no claims for that - but use it as proof that the pollen was high and the nose filters worked); today is windy and sunny - perfect pollen weather - walked through the park at lunchtime, did have to blow my nose when getting back and eyes are stinging, but NO sneezing. People do notice the plastic loop, but its better that than the total snot monster that I usually turn into. Will update when the "better" fit arrives and after a 40 mile bike event this weekend. All in all it does what it says. Happy!

Ces filtres sont très efficaces en période de pollen ou pollution. Jz ne peux plus m'en passer.
