Columbia Men's Transverse Hike Waterproof, Mid Rise Trekking And Hiking Boots

Columbia has nailed the balance between comfort and performance with the Transverse Hike. The waterproofing is excellent — I've walked through streams, muddy trails, and wet grass and my feet stayed completely dry. The Techlite+ midsole provides a really comfortable amount of cushioning for long days on your feet without sacrificing trail feel. The outsole grips well on both wet rock and loose dirt. They ran true to size for me and required very little break-in time, which is a huge plus. The low-cut design keeps them versatile enough for everyday use but they feel solid enough for proper hiking. Very impressed with the build quality and genuinely one of the best walking shoes I've owned.

Went on a 10km hike with 1k climb and drop the next day it arrived. I was a bit scared my feet will be destroyed but had no other shoe. It was amazing. Comfy, no blisters, cant fault it. Sizing is good. If i had to fault one thing maybe it is for wider foot. When I pull it tight on my foot the front of the boot loses its shape a bit, but I think i have pretty narrow feet for a size 10. ALso at least room for extra socks when its cold. :D

Not had these long, but they are lighter than some of my other boots but still seem sturdily constructed. Very comfortable, which is why I bought another pair in a different colour. Great so far for rambling and hills, but will use stronger footwear in the mountains. Definitely worth the money (about £78 when I bought them).

I purchased these for the wide fit option as all footwear manufacturers seem to believe we need our toes held in death grip by narrow footwear. To me they fit like a boot should with no narrowing, however they do not look wide ( was worried they would look like clown shoes. They do not. These boots are extremely light weight. Light weight to the point I've concerns how this will affect longevity. As of about a month no issues to share. Styling is OK, I use them everyday for dog walking so mostly covered in dust or mud so styling wasn't my priority. Kept me warm & dry so far. I'd go for the wide option even if you think you don't need it.

I ordered size 11 wide. These are by far the lightest most comfortable boots I have ever owned in 30 adult years. They are as light as my summer time mesh sketchers and they do not seem to make my feet sweat so these may genuinely be good for all year round in which case i may buy a few pairs and rotate. The single piece of formed leather over the toe area ensures they will stay waterproof and they seem to be of decent quality construction, I hope they will be durable but only time will tell on that. I am not expecting them to stay immaculate, nothing does. But if I can get a couple of years walking out of them then I will be back for more for sure. Highly recommended for walkers.

Excellent boots at a good price. Well made and waterproof. Sizes are generous so don’t order next size up for thick socks. Very pleased with my purchase

- its like swollen from the toe - not comfortable - i dont know what kind of leather it is as it looks very cheap material.

Cómodas, bien de precio y encima muy bonitas. Me gusta comprarlas un poco mas de número para usar un calcetín un poco mas grueso. Ahora solo queda disfrutarlas..

Bota muito bonita, excelente acabamento. Bastante confortável. As botas da Columbia que comprei comparadas com a numeração no Brasil são maiores, se atente a isso na hora de comprar.
