Sturdy and strong. For my purposes my only disappointment was that I had expected to be able to install a piece of stove pipe to the back side of it. When I got the unit I discovered that the way it's put together doesn't really allow for that and there's no way to properly attach it without drilling holes and putting in intrusive screws. So I needed to order a second one which of course made my project cost twice as much and took twice as long. With that said, once I put the two of them back to back and screwed them in they are working very well and should last a long time.

My dryer vent going through my floor into my crawls space. This was exactly what I needed. Works perfectly and is nice and sturdy. This allowed me to make a solid duct from the floor to the outside vent. Having the flange makes it really easy to connect and disconnect the drier without messing up the ducting. It will probably last another 30 years or more.

Not a HD knockoff. This is heavy duty and the cost reflects that, I'm happy.

Solid gauge material with a wide flange made it easy to attach to existing duct run. Length was just right for my needs and a round 4 inch diffuser fit in perfectly for a clean looking ceiling.
