Decent headset, decent price
I have been a pilot for 20 years. I have always resisted expensive headphones exceeding $1000. Seems like marketing hype for a sort of personal device. I bought this Airvoice headset and really have no complaints. Not much difference between these and Bose for my flying.

Very good alternative
I bought this set in order to save some money during the already expensive ppl. My CFI tried as well and he states are better than 400$ headset. In other words those cheap headset are doing their job. Especially during the learning you don’t need expensive one. Good noise cancellation but not too much in order to still feel the engine. Very comfortable as well.

As a spare headset for pax this is ideal, not the lightest on the market but works as advertised & good value.
