One thing immediately I noticed about this, was how sturdy it was. I was uncertain about this due to the lack of reviews on it, but it's quality is solid, it's great for painting, drawing, putting your tablet on and carrying around. It's one of those things I didn't know I needed until I bought it. There is a rubber strap that wraps to hold paper or other materials in place, which does the job. It stretches just far enough to hold it in place but enough to snap it, but what you are mostly paying for is the good quality of the board. It's adjustable with 5 different settings and angles to choose from so if you can get it, do so. You will not regret it.

I purchased this easel for my very gifted daughter who loves to paint & draw. It is great quality, very heavy duty and gives her freedom to do her art anywhere from the couch to the kitchen table to sitting in bed or even taking it with us on the road when we travel! We've had it for just under a month but I feel like she will have it for many, many years to come!

This is a giant drawing board. I wanted something sturdy for painting and drawing, and this is it. The A2 size is big but the value for the price is great. It’s rather lightweight and has some nice to have features, ability to move it to different angles, the carrying strap, etc. For storage, this folds up nicely and can be placed against a wall. I may have opted for a smaller drawing board, but when I want to use larger sheets, this is what I need.

It is sturdy and good quality. I like how it comes with a rubber band. My one gripe is, I don't like how the brand name is burned into the front. It's textured, so it's going to be a bother when I'm drawing or coloring if I'm making a piece that's as big as the board. I wanted a smooth surface throughout the entire board. It would be better to either put the brand name on the back, or use some type of paint so that it would be smoother.

Bought for watercolor. The size works well. Very light. Could see using this as a portable easel to draw. Good quality.

(1) The item’s finish was quite poor. I’ve ended up plucked by a large sliver, which lodged into my finger to bleed. It took good 20 minutes to take it out. (2) The item is flimsy and has no weight it should have. I realize everyone has different preferences but if I were to use it for plein air, it’d have little chance of staying put if wind starts pick up. (3) I had to return the item. The UPS charged me $29.75 for shipping, which was nearly the same price as the item itself. I will never purchase another item from Meeden ever again.

This is exactly what my wife needed to work on her paintings at the dining room table since our place has no room for a large work station. I clipped a bendable light to the top of it and now she paints with no neck pain with alacrity and ease in her mini studio. It's also easily transportable. An absolute smart buy here.

A beautiful and Easy to use Desk Easel. All well finished and ready to use. No assembling required. Instead of spending the money on a large drafting table, since I am an artist , I decided on just the drawing board that I can put on any flat surface. I thought I saw "Canadian" mentioned in the description so I bought it, but in fact it is made in China. It is large and perhaps I should have bought the smaller one, but when I use large canvases, this one will really help. And it arrived within 3 days of ordering.

When I decided to get more serious about diamond painting and levelled up to larger canvases, I knew I'd need a bigger drawing easel - and this one is perfect. It allows me to have the canvas propped up in front of me instead of laying it on the table and hunching over it to work - which is a lifesaver for my back. This easel and my large light pad make diamond painting easier and more enjoyable. It's also great value at this price. (I had a good look online and this one was far less expensive than others which were the same size.) This product is worth every dollar that I paid for it. Very happy, thank you!
