Excellent value telly with smooth operating system
Upgrading from a tesco technika android telly that from day one had been frustratingly slow, this, four years later, only cost £15 more than the technika, runs very quickly on the Linux-based vidaa operating system and has a notably bigger, better screen. Built-in speakers have good volume for a bedroom and pictire/sound quality are very good indeed for this price point. Setting it up was easy - every app we added had a qr code to scan for ease of signing in, rather than having to type on an on-screen keyboard. For wall mounting, it is of note that it requires a 100w x 200d vesa bracket, which I hadn't come across before. This review is based upon a replacement - the first unit received unfortunately had a cracked lcd in a corner - replacement was here within 3 days of reporting it. Niggles are minimal so far - there are a lot of bloat ware apps pre-installed that you have to hide - the on-screen message suggests that uninstall is possible, but I think Tht is 9nly for user-added apps. Additionally, the included remote has specific buttons for (Lassard voice) many, many apps. Those buttons aren't customisable out of the box, (to, for example, have the button with the disney+ logo instead open iplayer) although I am led to believe that there is a remote button mapper app available for download - I am tempted to disable half of them to avoid accidental button presses in the dark opening something when grabbing the remote, or, if possible, to map a shortcut to the sleep timer to a button, as that is somewhat buried in the system settings otherwise. Other than that, not much to report yet - an excellent value telly with no deal breakers in the shortcomings - I presume the price of the unit is subsidised somewhat in exchange for the remote buttons, and so I won't complain too much, particularly if I can make them do what I want them to with a bit of hacking!

Great TV
Bought as a replacement for Samsung kitchen TV. It's a fantastic TV, set up and Live TV access so much simpler than even high end models. Picture quality great.

Excellent TV but a headache to wall mount
Update28/01/25. I had to drill holes into the wall mount I had just to get the wall mount to line up. The TV is amazing quality for the price. Obviously doesn't compare to an OLED but it is an excellent TV. It will get a 5 star if I didn't wall mount it but due to the issues I experienced, I will stick with a 4 star review. --------------------------------------------- Do not buy if you plan to wall mount it. It doesn't even comply properly with Vesa standards in the UK anyways. It's Vesa 100x200 not Vesa 200x100 which basically means that even with an adaptor, your TV will be vertical and not horizontal. I cannot find the correct wall mount anywhere. I got so frustrated with it, I couldn't even tell you if the picture was any good

Nice guest room tv
Bought this Hisense 32” QLED for a guest room and I’m genuinely impressed. The picture quality is excellent for the size—bright, sharp, and with rich colour thanks to the QLED panel. Sound is surprisingly decent too, and the Dolby Atmos support gives it a nice boost. Setup was quick and simple, and it comes with all the streaming apps ready to go—Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, etc. Great value for money, sleek design, and ideal for a second room or smaller space. Highly recommended.

Useless no Freeview or Freely installed
Totally useless TV does not have Freeview nor Freely. Watching terrestrial TV or Sky News is. It straight forward at all. This TV is OK but not great. The picture is quite crisp. The TV responds fast to the remote control and the sound is fine given the size of the TV. There is an annoying issue where the white standby light occasionally comes on during the night which is quite annoying given we have this TV in the bedroom. I have turned it off this standby light in the settings but it still happens. Also, this model does not come with Freely installed nor can you get it in the app store. This TV uses the VDAA OS which is not the best in my opinion. Really regret having bought this TV

Good, but internet issues means won’t buy again
This TV is decent - good picture and value for money, however, we wouldn’t buy again. For some reason, the TV consistently disconnects from the Internet, especially when the time changes (Bristish Summer Time for example). If the time on the tv is not right, the tv seems to go on strike. The only way to resolve is to reset the internet at router level and wait for the connection to reappear on the tv settings. There are forums on the topic, so it’s not a unique issues to the tv we had.

Great price and great TV
I've always bought Sony tvs, but thought I would try this for the bedroom. Great picture and when I replace the main TV I would definitely consider Hisense. One small negative is the small light at the bottom even when the tv is nor turned on. Not a problem we just turn it off at the plug.

Not recommended, not reliable, returned!
Bought mine in March 2025 and in May just a couple of months later I experienced problems with it and notified Amazon I would be returning it as it wouldn't switch off despite my remote having my new batteries. I had to Google for help as to locate the manual off switch which is under the pilot/remote light and try to navigate the menu. It was under warranty of course and unfortunately due to illness I had to wait until I felt better to return it. It worked a few weeks start of June and then recently in September it stopped altogether and I believe a lot of people experience issues with Hisense and it's disappointing because I thought they were supposed to be a top of the range brand but I finally returned it and just awaiting a refund but I wouldn't recommend it as it's not a reliable. I am going to get a TCL Google TV instead. I have one as a main TV as this Hisense (Vidaa system) was supposed to be a bedroom tv and the TCL is better. The Vidaa system doesn't allow you to add apps the same as a Google TV which is a like a giant phone so I am glad to see the back of this TV .. Do your research first and pay attention to the software issues that can happen with Hisense (Vidaa) TV's.
