For the price this shelfing went together fairly easy by myself, using the included gloves and a rubber mallet I have already. As long as you don't go to heavy handed when building then you should be fine, otherwise I can see how people could bend the metal parts during assembly. Like all this type of shelving, until you get it together fully, it is wobbly and feels weak. However when fully built it is ridged and I have screwed it to the garage wall for extra safety. The 120mm wide one has two cross members for the shelves so the fact the MDF board is thin does not really matter as it is well supported. Impressed enough that I am buying the slightly smaller 90mm wide version as well to fit another gap in the garage.

Perfect for my multitude of work tools , easy to assemble and very light to carry but very sturdy!!!!

I found it quite difficult to put together.I bought it thinking because it wast a screw together item.it would be quick and easy to assemble.it didn't have any instructions with it so I had to go on You Tube .the videoed played too quickly for me to keep up with .It was very sharp at the edges and although they kindly sent gloves it didn't stop the sharpness of the metal digging into my hands.it took me a while to put up but once it was assembled it was a good shelving unit and holds a lot of things for storage .overall results I'm pleased with the final item

An absolute bugger to assemble but the result is great.

Why is this getting any 5 star reviews? Being cheap should not be enough. Yes It’s beautifully finished but there are 29 separate pieces of metal held together with nothing but gravity. It’s an absolute must that this is screwed to a wall. It took over an hour and a half to-unpack and assemble. The instructions are for a completely different product. The shelves can’t be evenly spaced, and it is constantly falling apart during assembly because everything is such a sloppy fit. I expected the shelves to be pre assembled but they are made of 4 separate pieces of metal which attach to the uprights separately, and a cross piece that keeps falling out. I wish I’d spent 3 times more.

This shelving unit is just great, I’m using it in my bathroom to replace flimsy plastic shelves. I wish I’d thought of this item sooner. It was easy to put up and light enough to move into place. It’s so versatile and bigger than I thought it would be so I’ve ordered one in black for the lounge. I completely love the easy instructions and getting a pair of safety gloves in the box is a bonus as I didn’t think about my hands. I’ve bought a second one for my lounge and it looks great too.

This is a very flimsy product the shelves are super thin and there’s no instructions to build ! Very disappointing

Fácil montaje, muy resistentes

Ho acquistato questo scaffale con un pizzico di sfiducia. Sembrava un giocattolino. Dopo molti dubbi, ho deciso per l'acquisto pensando alla politica dei resi di Amazon. Se il prodotto fosse risultato "sbagliato", basterebbe fare un reso mi sono detto. Il prodotto è arrivato il 14 Agosto qualche giorno prima della data originale. Il montaggio è stato semplice. Io consiglio i seguenti passi: a) Procurarsi una persona tranquilla come assistente. Montarlo da solo è quasi impossibile. b) Aprire il foglio di istruzioni e tenerlo davanti durante tutto il lavoro. c) Separare i pezzi e raggrupparli seguendo i disegni del foglio di istruzioni. d) Iniziare il montaggio seguendo esattamente l'ordine indicato nel foglietto. e) Un paio di trucchi: 1) Il foglietto segnala l'utilizzo di un martello grosso in gomma dura. Chi non ha un attrezzo del genere, può sostituirlo con un martello medio e inserire tra questo attrezzo e il pezzo da forzare un pezzo di tavoletta di legno, come si vede nella foto. Questo è proprio necessario, perché molti pezzi non entrano senza una giusta martellata. Senza il legno a fare da cuscinetto la pittura si rovinerebbe. 2) Per inserire le piccole "unghie" di lamiera nei fori, operazione complicata e fastidiosa, ci si può aiutare con la punta di un coltello da cucina di acciaio inox, di lama sottile e flessibile. Si inserisce "l'unghia" parzialmente, si inserisce la lama del coltello nel foro dove deve andare a finire "l'unghia" e si danno un paio di colpi di martello (inserendo la tavoletta di legno tra il martello e l'oggetto colpito), per far scivolare "l'unghia", che a questo punto è guidata dalla lama del coltello. Una volta agganciata "l'unghia", si toglie la lama del coltello e si completa il suo posizionamento dell'unghia con un paio di colpi di martello-tavoletta. Nelle fotografie si vede questa operazione. Lo scaffale rimane incredibilmente robusto. Io l'ho installato in cucina, dove regge perfettamente un discreto carico di alimenti e qualche cassetto di frutta. Oggetto raccomandato e di ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
