Great to practice tattooing. It does smudge more than regular skin but the depth is very good. I think it’s pretty close to the real thing but nothing can fully compare. The sheets are large and can fit a pretty decent sized tattoo. I use this then fill it with small lines and circles to practice tracing. Shading is challenging with it, but I’ve read and heard this is very common with other fake skins as well.

I recently purchased the Urknall 3mm fake skin from Amazon, and it’s been excellent for tattoo practice. The 3mm thickness feels very close to real skin, which makes it great for practicing line work, shading, and packing color. One of the best parts is that both sides are usable, so you really get more value out of each sheet. The material holds ink well and doesn’t tear easily, even when working with larger needle groupings. Overall, it’s a durable, high-quality practice skin that I’d definitely recommend for beginners and experienced artists looking to refine their technique.

I am biased as this is the ONLY fake skin I have tried. That being said, I can NOT get the stencil off. I tried alcohol green soap stencil stuff bleach and 409. It’s ON THERE! Which is better than the stencil wiping away immediately, which is a complaint I often hear with fake skin Had to use a TAD deeper needle depth and set my machine on 8v with a 1205rl (to eaches own) to get the best result Also very hard surface. THIS DOES NOT STRETCH but still gives you clean results. I will be continuing to use these skins because the price is great and the amount of skins are plenty for practice and I have not used the other side but the needle did not poke through so doubling the skin and using the back shouldn’t be a problem Also this did not slide on the table the grip was phenomenal So that is both the good and the bad, overall, I recommend but try to keep stencils light and make sure your tattooing over all of the stencil because it won’t come off and look clean otherwise Update: SOAKING the skin with bleach in a dish over night under a few paper towels DID remove the excess stencil. Added a star because that was really my biggest complaint! So let your stencil dry over night to get it to stay and bleach it overnight to remove the stencil 😊 hope that helps!!

This is rlly good skin, although it doesn’t stretch. Easy to clean and holds ink well. 3mm thick so double sided.

First time using this fake skin and I am not a fan of the quality. It gets eaten up by the needle no matter the pressure and it really and It drives me nuts

The fake skin is extremely thin, only 1mm so not possible to properly practise depth and in the description it said “thick” so false advertising.

Very good for the price. Use tons of petroleum jelly or the ink will not wipe well.
