As much as I wanted this kennel to work, it just wasn’t strong enough to hold my adult male cat. He kept finding weak spots and managing to escape. I also had trouble with some of the panels not clicking in securely, so I had to reinforce them with zip ties. It worked for about three months before I decided to take it down and invest in a sturdier cat hotel instead. It might work fine for smaller or calmer cats, but not for strong or determined ones.

This pairs well with a pet door. My little kitty can go in or out anytime she wishes and is protected from the local raptors and coyotes. It is easy to setup. If you had "Tinker toys" as a child, you will be pleasantly rewarded.

My 2 cats love this enclosure. I'm very comfortable for them to be in it. You have to use the zip ties on the platform if you have heavy cats but they do provide you a lot in the package.

I loved it. Although it's a cat cage, I use it for my pet birds. Nowadays, bird cages are crazy expensive. And they still end up being too small. But this cat cage is way bigger and cheaper than what the "biggest" indoor bird cage would be. Although the instructions were difficult to read, and the video wouldn't load. But I made it work and assembled it but just the outer part. The inside I decorated it with branches and play stuff for my birds. But make sure you click them in place. There should be no gaps connecting each panel. So make sure you use your upper body or floor to click them in place. Other than that. Easy in my opinion. The hammer was useless for me too. I also used all 4 doors to make one big one for me to enter and clean. I decided on this cage so that my birds can fly more freely while I work.

Yes, it takes a LONG time to assemble. Hopefully you have patience and ingenuity. The square vinyl solid platforms/perches for the cats are not very sturdy. Therefore, I bought scruffy floor runner material off the reel at Home Depot, am cutting it to fit, gluing on each square, so my cats' claws don't shred the perches in short order. We bought this as a temporary safe structure so our cats can be outside while our home undergoes a lengthy remodel where their access is very limited. I took away a star due to assembly time and wimpy perch material.
