I picked up the LARKSOUND small sound bar mainly for my TV and gaming setup, and honestly it’s a solid upgrade over built-in speakers.The sound quality is clear, especially for dialogue and everyday watching. Movies and games sound much better, and it definitely adds more depth compared to standard TV audio. The bass isn’t super powerful, but it’s decent for a compact soundbar and works well in a small room.Setup was really easy — just plug and play. I like that it supports multiple connections like Bluetooth, HDMI ARC, optical, and AUX, so it works with pretty much anything I connect it to.One thing to keep in mind is that it’s not super loud compared to bigger, more expensive systems, and the bass could be stronger if you’re looking for a full home theater experience.Overall, for the price, it’s a great value and perfect if you want a simple, affordable sound upgrade for your TV, PC, or gaming setup.

I ordered this sound bar for our bedroom TV. We have an expensive OLED TV with terrible audio, especially dialogue. I figured any sound bar would be better than the built in speakers. We were pleasantly surprised by the dialogue quality produced by this very inexpensive bar. It's not going to blow you away with music play quality, but it is actually not too bad for TV. My wife and I no longer sit and constantly ask what was said.The sound bar is easy to assemble and setup. The actual sound bar itself arrives in two pieces that are easy to connect. If needed, the bar can be easily disassembled. This is actually an interesting concept. The maker could have easily included a longer cord for separating but connecting the two halves. This system could make an okay set of PC speakers or be spread apart for more sound dispersion.The included remote is small and works well. It has several options that make it work well in whatever setup or input you choose. The remote has buttons for several types of sound field options. I think the movie option is best for all around use.I tested this bar with most of the different input options. The Bluetooth input works well with a smart phone, laptop, or smart TV. It was very easy to pair and connects consistently. The HDMI input worked well with the HDMI Arc port from the TV. It does not have HDMI pass through ports or capabilities. It responded well with commands from the Arc port. I attached a USB drive with MP3 music. It quickly and easily played all of the music from the USB drive. The bar does not require attachment to an audio device. As long as you have an AC outlet, it can be used like any portable speaker.My only negative comments would be the lack of bass. I should have gone with the slightly more expensive version with the down firing bass speakers. I didn't expect much from a soundbar in this price range, but I am pleasantly surprised by options available and dialogue quality. This bar meets my needs and expectations.

I got this sound bar to hook up to a Roku TV in the bedroom. It's basic, but decent...especially for the price.It comes unassembled, in two pieces. There's a cable in one that will need to be plugged into the other, and then slide the notched pieces together. It's pretty lightweight, as well. There are controls on the right hand side, including power and volume controls. The remote required 3 AAA batteries, not included. It can be wall mounted (mounting kit included), but I have a cement wall so I'm unable to do so. I used the AUX cable to connect to my TV, but found it a bit short. My connections are on the right side of the TV and with AUX in on the right side, the cable did not reach with the speaker centered in front of the TV. So, longer cables would be nice...I plan on getting an HDMI to solve that issue.As far as sound quality, it's average. It's better than TV speakers, but not mind-blowing. Bass is unimpressive, but I didn't expect much for this. I do like that the remote has a "night" button, which comes in handy for phone calls. The Bluetooth feature is also nice so I can connect my phone wirelessly. Music sounds decent. Definitely a better bedroom sound bar than would be in a larger space.
