I love this stuff. It’s not super gritty to leave my scalp irritated, but the charcoal really exfoliates and clears up the buildup on my scalp. If you don’t have access to prescription shampoo for dandruff/buildup, this is a good option to try as a replacement! I have both. It really helps during the summer months when there’s a lot of sweat. Cleans my scalp really well!

Works very well for detoxification of the scalp. Wish it came in a larger size.

Leaves the skin on my head feeling great. It has a light pleasant scent and as of now seems to be doing exactly what I need from the product.

I tried this shampoo for treating buildup. While waiting for the first shipment, I started using a regular dandruff shampoo found in any supermarket/drugstore. That helped a lot. The Briogeo helped a little bit more, but frankly not very much. It's okay shampoo but not a great value. It does smell nice, and leaves your scalp feeling fresh and tingling. The label notes that it is "95% Naturally Derived Formula." That sounded promising, I wondered if I could read the ingredients aloud without accidentally summoning a demon. After looking over the very long list of chemicals, I decided not to risk it.

I notice a decrease in the itchiness of my scalp for about 5 days then it starts again. I've been washing my hair only once/week over the last few years and using this product pushes me to narrow that schedule. I've used it 5X and have just about enough to shampoo once more. (So that means a 6 times/use for me of this tube.) I'm not using it to lather my hair, which is thick but short. I massage a generous amount on my scalp, back and front, then use a shampoo bar for my hair. This tube (easily seen) is not as large as most tubes of toothpaste) and is the consistency of tooth paste. The texture is gritty as is mentioned on the tube, and not a pretty color and it doesn't have a nice fragrance. So generally, it is not a pleasant experience. I am hoping it will have a longterm positive effect on the itchy feeling of my scalp. I'm willing to put up with those negative factors if it does. I've tried several other shampoos to address the problem and they have helped but not remedied the problem of a dry, itchy scalp. Ruth Jackins P. S.
